He kept on saying it was an accident like it wasn't his fault. He has insurance and we've talked to them. He talked to them too but didn't claim responsibility. We have a state police report and passed the number to his insurance. We stopped in Iowa, La. last night. Should be in New Braunfels this afternoon. Jeff

We weren't as lucky. Travelling along I-12 in Louisiana in traffic a guy rolls a tire out of the bed of his pickup. He lost control of the tire. It bounced right in my lane and I hit it at 60mph. Lucky it went under the truck and the front axle didn't let it go any farther. I got it stopped without hitting anyone. Bent the front bumper and I don't know if there is other damage. What a pain. He then asked me if I had a jack he could use. No! Jeff

My how plans change. We're leaving Summerdale, Al. on Friday heading for New Braunfels, Tx. Hope to be there Saturday afternoon. Skipping past the Mississippi gulf coast and New Orleans this trip. "Planning" on a month in New Braunfels from there who knows. Jeff

Toni and Doug - Good luck tomorrow! Julie and Mike - Wow! A new rig. Cool. Pictures please when it happens. Joe - How about picture of you making a snow angel or maybe a sand angel? lol. Lynn and Roger - What a day. Y'all did the best you could with what you had. Very sad. Guess I can't complain about the rain. Jeff

Snow is one thing but the ice is worse. Couldn't even take the dogs for a walk Friday morning until the ice started to melt. 6 months in one place is a loooooong time if you can move around. We're planning on the southwest next year before our Baja trip next Feb. Boondocking, Q, and campgrounds not one place too long. Lots of neat places and cities out east but we may not be back until 2016. Jeff

Hey Charley, what's up? Suppose to start warming up tomorrow but not nearly as warm as you. Going to extend our stay here a few days because of the storm then heading south to the gulf coast. Yes it was too early to be this far north but we wanted to see this part of Georgia before we head west. See you out west this summer? Later. Jeff

Just under pine trees - so far so good. Catching up on old time tv since the satellite dome is cover with snow and ice. Leave it to Beaver is a hoot. Next week the Gulf coast. Hope it's warm. Jeff

I don't like making reservations but we did any way. So here we are between Atlanta and Athens Georgia (got here Monday) watching this winter storm come through. We will be ok but won't get out for a day or 2. Tv channels are going nuts over this storm. Roamed around Athens a little yesterday. From here we are going to the gulf coast early next week. Later. What a pain but you got a solution. Just a suggestion - if someone seems to be parking a bit too close just go start the new genny and watch them move farther away. lol. Jeff

Good luck on the coach Roger. Left Florida on Monday. We're in Brunswick, Ga. going back to Jekyll Island today to ride bikes. Yesterday was too cool and foggy. Well our one day of rain and chilly temps has gone to 3 days. The sunshine state has been more like the PNW lately. Looks like we have a small water leak at the skylight in the shower too. We're more than ready for it to stop raining. Suppose to be near 80 for the weekend. Moving north to the Georgia coast on Monday. We do miss the West. Later. Jeff

In Florida now going to New Braunfels. I've taken to the same place both times in the past. First time they took the motorhome for a drive but not the second time. I'd like to go to the same place so maybe they won't feel the need to go for a ride. Do they usually take them for a drive? Jeff
