  1. Sorry, no room in the trailer for a golf cart. I have a minibike for a pitbike. I do miss my racing, I'll get back to it one day. Jeff
  2. I don't want to commit to the Good Sam until I see who the entertainment is. In 2012 They had Bowzer (the Sha Na Na guy), Martina Mc Bride, Bill Cosby and a Beatles tribute band. The Beatles tribute band is returning. That's where we saw the seminar for the east coast tour we took. Lots of vendors. Jeff
  3. Just a quick 300+ mile trip to the Rally. Get there on time for the evening entertainment. LOL. They haven't said who all the entertainment is yet. Depends on who they get if we attend. Jeff
  4. When we get back from the Baja tour we are thinking of the doing the Good Sam Rally. Won't commit to it until they announce all of the entertainment. The Baja tour - http://www.fantasyrvtours.com/caravans/mexico/bajatours/37%20daybaja/37daybaja.html Jeff
  5. Roger - I think the Baja tour doesn't get over until March 19. We are thinking of doing the Good Sam Rally in Phoenix when we get back. http://therally.com/ Escapade info - http://www.rvnetwork.com/index.php?showtopic=110865 Jeff
  6. We rolled into Helena today for a couple of nights. Had dinner with Sandie and Jim so if your ears were burning or ringing this evening you know why. So good to see them again. What a beautiful city and can it ever rain. Going to do some sight seeing tomorrow. Travel safe everyone. Jeff
  7. Joe - the guy on the Weather Channel said Seattle could have 6 days above 90 during the next week. Portland was to be hot too. You may want to leave the AC on for a while. Steve - Sorry about your AC problem. At least there is another. I'd be sitting next to the ice cream machine with some cranberry juice if I was you until it got fixed. We are at Little Big Horn today. Got to go check it out. See ya. Jeff
  8. We met up with Lynn and Roger yesterday near Sturgis, SD. Great to see them again and the "Beave" along with the bright yellow Jeep. Had sloppy joes and bbq beans for a dinner. Good talk and catching up. So if your ears were ringing yesterday you know why. We are moving on today toward Little Big Horn and the rest of Montana. Safe travels everyone. Jeff
  9. We feel the same way. Hang in there. Tina and Jeff
  10. Looks good Joe. Love baby back ribs. Summer may have finally caught up to us. Suppose to be high 80's into the 90's here in Rapid City/ Black Hills. We'll run the AC for the first time since we were in Albuquerque 2 months ago. Finally - now I'll complain about the heat. LOL. Safe travel everyone. Jeff
  11. Happy Canada Day! Safe travels everyone. Jeff
  12. What Joe says is true. When we were there 2 years ago there was a car show in the city park in Oak Harbor. They moved up the trophy presentation that afternoon because it was too hot. Must have been 75 that day. I couldn't believe it. Sweltering. lol Jeff
  13. The doctor said we could go. She still has some swelling across the knuckles and getting more movement back each day. Thanks everyone. We are at Devil's Tower for a couple of nights then on towards the Black Hills. Roger, we may've moved on by the 10th but you never know with us. Safe travels everyone. Jeff
  14. She's letting me walk the dog now. What about the Port Townsend Elks? http://www.elks.org/lodges/LodgeFacilities.cfm?LodgeNumber=317 Later. Jeff
  15. Friday afternoon Tina was going to take Harley, our deaf, bad eye sighted Dachshund out for a walk and got bit on the back of her hand. Sunday we went to the ER here in Cody. She had antibiotic IV's 4 times. At noon,6, midnight and 6 Monday morning. They took about an 1 1/2 hours each time. Saw a hand specialist Monday and Tuesday mornings. He says it looks good no surgery. One more visit with him tomorrow morning and we should be on the road again toward the Black Hills. Keep your fingers crossed. Travel safe everyone. Jeff
  16. Steve- Glad the surgery went well. Praying for a speedy recovery. We're in Cody, Wy. and went to Yellowstone for a day trip today. Before we got to the east gate it started snowing. The roads were just wet. When Old Faithful start to erupt a snow squall came through and you could barely see it. Tried to post a picture but couldn't figure it out. Hope we find summer temps soon. Safe travels everyone. Jeff
  17. It was good to spend some time with Sandie and Jim and Dianne and Tom. We had a great time visiting. The campground is pretty nice too. Saw 3 moose there yesterday, one was out side our door a couple of hundred yards laying under a tree in tall grass. Today we went by the Grand Tetons, in the south gate of Yellowstone and out the east gate. Along the drive to Cody we spotted another moose and her baby by the river. Will be in Cody for a week. Safe travels everyone. Tina and Jeff
  18. We are on the move. Watch out everyone out west. In Steamboat Springs, Co. for 2 nights then toward the Flaming Gorge. It's good to be moving again. Travel Safe Everyone. Jeff
  19. Our weather has been very nice the last couple of days. We went to the visitors center at the top of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. Lots of deep snow still up there. Looking forward to seeing you next winter. Lee, No news is good news. Customer service isn't what it used to be. Stay calm. Jeff
  20. One day Mike, one day. How ya doin'? Jeff
  21. We can't shake crummy weather. It has rained for the last 5 or 6 days. Not constant just afternoon rain. Under flash flood warnings and I hope this is the last time we are in a state park over a holiday. With the loud music, cornhole tournament with PA system, and people walking through our site Monday can't get here quick enough. Linda, we are sorry to hear the news about your Mother. Lee, sounds like you are getting a handle on things. Keep after them.
  22. Have a good time. Will be watching your blog for sure. Sue, Lee doesn't like the use of that s--- word around here. LOL Jeff
  23. Gee Steve you've had more than your share of water problems. Now I know why you really carry the boat. LOL Jeff
  24. Looks like you enjoyed your time in the s--- more than I did. I've said I don't mind going to see s--- , I just don't want it coming to me. The last 2 years I've come back here it has come to me. Yuck! Jeff
  25. Roger, you could be a tour guide for that area. Jeff
