  1. Denver, right now we are planning on attending on our trip home from Florida, we will let you know what site we get when we reserve, do you know what sites you're looking at to be together? I have also let Charlie Lord know about it, it's just funny seeing them in a motorhome and not Tow Mater.   Rennie & Beth Roberts

  3. Wish we were there with you but have to fulfill my civic obligation (jury duty) today, they were kind enough when they asked last summer for me to participate to excuse me until now seeing we were already on the road.

Maybe some year I will make it to the national rally in "Hutch" that is what those of us who grew up in Kansas called it.

It is our goal to attend that one as well, this year was looking really good until our son decided to get married in Texas around the same time.

I am jealous all of you with skills I don't have. Love reading about what you are doing though!

I got to see Henry in action and let me tell you I do not think his mind ever stops thinking on how a project will work. he is definitely one of those person " Who has probably forgotten more than I will ever know".

  6. I would have to agree but lucky for me when we found our HDT we received a lot of info here on the forums, I still read daily but post very little as I feel I do not have a lot to add.  I am very glad to have the very knowledgeable folks that do. My favorite thing was learning about the ECR and being able to have Henry install our ET Hitch at my first rally.

  7. We use EZ Pass and do not mount it, we just lay it on the dashboard when needed as we use it in our HDT then in the Smart when needed, never had an issue. We have a $25 re-charge fee when needed but if we use it a lot (especially on the Pa Turnpike) they will up the amount on the re-charge, but if I remember before we head out on trips, I can check our balance and add to it in advance.

The outer perimeter sites are there larger sites. $1000 monthly turns into $1500.

    Larger Lot: 150% of rate

That is correct plus they offer different options on site rental (lease), per month or a 6 month includes electric, what they call 6+6 meaning 6 months site use 6 months storage is plus electric. This year we did 3 months and are considering the 6 months for next winter.

I'm a avid pickleball player and I'm surprised they put the courts right in the middle of RV sites.  The constant ball/paddle noise wouldn't be good for us.  Keep that in mind when choosing sites.

We were actually walking around looking at sites in case we wish to return next year, which by the way are all very similar but there are a few wider than some and the ones near all the activities looked good but the first thing I thought about was hearing pickleball all day :o

  10. Not south but this year we are trying Oak Alley RV Resort in Webster Fl. it is really in the middle of nowhere, but the place is extremely nice, not that old and was built correctly. They have a pool and hot tub,12 pickleball courts and a pro here for lessons(free), lots of activities and free Wi-Fi at your site with a provided router that they install, and it is included in your site rental. About an hour drive to Tampa and Orlando, our fee this year was $1050 a month for site rental with all utilities and Wi-Fi.

I travel single and have no one watching, so GOAL is my action all the time. Sometimes it's a GOAL once or twice and other times it's a GOAL MANY, MANY times.

I personally think there are never to many GOAL, that way hopefully never any damage
