Anyone familiar with weBoost 4G-X RV

I believe it is limited to a boost of up to 50dbm, but can be used while driving down the road. We have the Connect 4-G with has a boost of up to 65 dbm,  but is made for stationary use only.  The important think to remember is that there has to be at least some signal for the booster to boost.

TP, Kleenex and paper towels have reappeared in our stores. Limit 1 package per visit. The hysterical panic is subsiding slowly here locally. I saw someone with bottled water in his cart too. There are still odd empty spots on the shelves tho

Certainly the stores are partly to blame for the run on paper products and hand sanitizer.  No way should have stores allowed people to buy cart fulls of these products, and certainly not pickup loads or truck loads! In my view, the people who were buying these products were not buying for personal use, but to try and create a shortage and gauge the public.  Hopefully, they all got stuck with hundreds or even thousands of dollars of stuff they cant use or sell. I am glad that Amazon and Ebay caught on quickly as to what these scum bags were doing.

  3. I would have the jacks up and change one of the solenoids for the one of the jacks and the one for the slide, and see if this made any difference. The fuse for the slide out solenoid may be burned out as well.

If you can explain the toilet paper and water mad rush as anything other than media fed hysteria, I'd like to see it. Diarrhea is not even being reported as one of the symptoms. Our local supermarket is 100% cleaned out of ALL paper products, except paper plates. I understand that in two days they cleared $1,500,000 more than their normal sales on Thanksgiving week.

And do people really think that public utilities are going to collapse?? Water plants in particular.

I dont believe I have seen one newscast that told people to buy a years worth of TP. Just like in the Midwest when they forecast a blizzard people go buy milk and bread.  It is just was people do.

This TSD program reminds of the companies that were re-selling their unlimited cellular broadband plans to individuals on the open market as a way to make additional monies.  It violated their terms of agreement with the cellular companies and they were eventually terminated.  My understanding is that the TSD logistics plan was between fuel sellers and this company as a program for their trucks and drivers. Once they started selling these negotiated rates on the open market it was bound to attract attention from the fuel sellers.

In addition, Good Sam evidently had an exclusive contract on fuel discounts for RVers with Pilot Flying J, and when Good Sam found out that TDS who had a contract with Pilot Flying J for their trucks, but extended the deal to RVers, there was a conflict, and Good Sam enforced their contract with Pilot Flying J.

Anytime we have anything critical or time sensitive to send we use Fed-EX Ground service.  It cost a bit more than USPS, but they are much more reliable.

Most recent USPS screw up was we had the mail forwarded from Escapees to and address in Tomball, TX.  It was sent Priority One so we could track it. Normally it was in Tomball in a couple of days.  Well it was snt to a center outside of Dallas and being a weekend now, it was 5 days.

It is harder to kill off the USPS when it is operating well.

Hopefully not getting political here but could it be it's because public schools don't have the funds to hire teachers?  Many classrooms do not have a teacher.

X 2  So by not having enough funds to hire the best teachers, they take what they can get.  There are lots of dedicated teachers out there, but just being dedicated, doesnt necessarily make a person a good teacher.

  8. The first time we had mail sent to General Delivery in Tucson we were not aware that only the mail post office received General Delivery mail, and we had put the wrong zip code put on the mail that was sent to us.  When we went to the main post office to pick up our mail we explained to the clerk the mistake we had made. Two different went to look for our mail, and after about 10 minutes one clerk came back with it, and explained our mail was in with the Postmasters mail. We were thankful that the clerks went the extra mile looking for our mail, as they have just as easily said, it is not in the General Delivery mail, sorry we dont know where it is.

UPDATE:  Today 7 Days after the recipient received the notice that certified mail was available for him to pick up the letter was located in the office it was sent to.  The PO was extremely apologetic. My only hope is that whatever happened to it will be fixed so it won't happen again.  Thankfully this situation is now in my rear view mirror.

    Thank you for the update.

It also changes with any change of carrier, or at least it does for a rural route. For 8 years our mail was delivered to a cluster mail box with several large package boxes at the bottom and a key would be in the package recipient's mailbox. For the first 5 0r 6 years any mistake in the mail delivery was rare and always meant that the carrier was on vacation and a substitute brought our mail. Then our carrier retired and the new ones seem to just spread the mail among the cluster boxes in a random order and the key for the box with a package is rarely in the proper box. The community refers to the mess as the USPS's new, get to know your neighbor plan.

Hopefully, you and the neighbors brought this to the attention of the Postmaster.

USPS tracking leaves a lot to be desired.  I made an Amazon order on a Friday night.  Saturday night, USPS tracking said it was in my local post office and would be delivered Sunday.  Sunday morning it showed as being in a post office 80 miles away.  Monday, it showed as being in Dallas, 250 miles away.  Tuesday, it was supposed to be in another post office 40 miles out.  Wednesday, it supposedly was in Houston, 100 miles from here.

Thursday, Amazon sent an email saying it was lost and they were sending another.  Saturday, they both arrived.

My opinion?  I think USPS service quality is very much location dependent.  My local post office sucks.  I get my mail between 630 pm and 730 pm, even though it will say "out for delivery" at 8 am.  When the substitute delivers, I usually get it before 2 pm.  The sub told me that the regular carrier picks up the mail early like the other carriers, but doesn't start delivering until after noon.  I've never lived anywhere that I had to take a flashlight out to the box to check the mail.  It's also the first time I ever had a carrier who had her children with her in the back seat while delivering.

If the regular carrier is getting his mail, wasting time until noon, the Postmaster needs to be notified, however, if the Postmaster is requiring the carried to do other duties before starting to deliver at noon, that is a different matter, but I would call the Postmaster with your concern anyway.

Yes the recipient received the notice from their post office.  They also provided all the tracking stops along the way to assist in locating it.

They checked with them again this morning 1-10-2020 and it is still now found nor does the post office update the online tracking to show that someone checked in to pick it up.  It would appear that any stats from the Post Office are questionable as they don't keep transactions current.

I have contacted two of the postmasters involved this morning and have not heard back from them.

The item was last scanned in the Spring TX post office where it was to be  picked up.  So it is somewhere in the Spring TX post office.

No, tracking does not show when someone tried to pick it up, but tracking should show the last time and place it was scanned.  Does the recipient get their mail in a PO BOX or on a route?  If on a route tracking should show if the item was checked out to the carrier, and since it was not delivered, tracking should show that delivery was attempted and notice left, and then it should be checked back into the post office, and should be where undelivered certified mail is placed.

If the recipient gets their mail on a route, then it may have still been with the carrier, and he had not returned to the office yet.

The Postmaster and the sending office can only look online at the tracking, however, the Postmaster at the receiving office should be able to, not only check tracking, but be able to physically look for the mail piece.

That probably has more to do with the overloading of the towers during the winter than it does the strength of the signal there.  We were in Q in November for an overnight at an RV park in town...good signal, but very, very slow even that early in the season.  It's got to be agonizingly slow during January!

We had decent internet speeds when in town, but if I understand things correctly, the tower in town that is located at the intersection of Main Street and Hiway 95 does not provide signal north to Plamosa Road but one east along the interstate and south of Quartzsite along Hiway 95.
