  1. 3Ts is the place in Lake Havasu that is both a Winnebago dealer, and an HWH dealer. We received great service when we needed a slide mechanism replaced, although, the people who worked there were not overly friendly. Since that time, I believe, that the son has taken over and it is not as easy to get service there, but sure worth a try.

  2. The five year chart showing the number of operating oil drilling rigs in the USA shows the biggest reason for the high fuel prices we are seeing now.

    https://ycharts.com/indicators/us_oil_rotary_rigs

When the number of operating drilling rigs drops by over 700 from November 2018 down to only 180 in August 2020 cant help but affect the future price of crude oil and therefore fuel prices. Fortunately, from the low in August 2020 there are now over 500 oil drilling rigs operating in the USA. When we get up close to to where we were in November 2018, prices will moderate substantially.

You cant produce oil if you are not drilling for it!

I hear you!  The times we've visited Quartzsite, especially during January, the signal is so bad, it's sometimes useless for even the most basic uses -- and I wasn't even trying to stream then!  Besides other reasons, that's one of the main reasons we rarely visit Quartzsite anymore.  We're usually at the Pilot Knob LTVA west of Yuma and our signal there has always been better than we can get at home!

We never expect to get much internet speed while in Quartzsite, but this is the first year we have had to leave because Ann count not get enough internet speed to work.

  4. As Chris and Cherie of the Mobile Internet Resource Center have said, "bars mean nothing."

Here in Yuma my signal strength is -109 dbm but I am getting 24.1 MB download speed and 9.83 upload speed.

This morning in Quartzsite my signal strength was -79 dbm but my download speed was less than 2MB, and upload speed was just a little over 1MB.(That is why we are in Yuma and not Quartzsite)

Also, it looks to me like the primary difference between the three boosters you posted is how far the indoor antenna broadcasts, and not the power of the booster.

  5. It is easy to see why gas prices are rising. People are driving more than they did in most of 2020, and the production of crude oil is lagging behind demand.
One statistic that most people are not aware of is the dramatic drop in drilling for oil and gas in the last few years! In February of 2018 there were about 1100 gas and oil drilling rigs operating in the USA, but by August of 2020 that number had dropped to a paltry 250 oil and gas drilling rigs operating in the USA. Also, oil and gas drilling companies lost huge sums of money during the collapse of the economy in 2020. I believe at one time crude oil was trading at -$40.00 per barrel. Now these drilling companies are somewhat hesitant to start drilling again, however, the good news is that the number of oil and gas drilling rigs in the USA is back up over 500 and continuing to climb. Hopefully, it wont be too long until the supply of crude oil catches up with demand and we will see stabilization and perhaps a reduction in retail prices.

It seems that no one answered your question

La Posa South about 5 miles south on 95, on the left. As far as I know it's the only one of the ltva's with water, dumpsters and dump station.

    Good luck and have fun

    Jerry

However, if you have paid to stay at the other LTVAs, you can use the facilities at La Posa South.

I am looking to buy a small Winnie, and it's being sold by "PopRv", seems to be a broker for rvs and boats.  Does anyone know anything about them?  They want a considerable deposit up front,  and I don't know anyone who has worked with them.  Any thoughts?  Thanks!

I would never give anyone a deposit up front,  unless it was guaranteed fully refundable without exceptions!

And how many of us will suffer from the side effects of this vaccine? I am sure all these great drugs people took that now have lawsuites. I pray not but I have little respect for our drug manufacturers.

There are probably around 700,000 people who would have preferred some side effects compared to their fate.

Do believe hearing a country that is in better shape than we are with no masks and no vaccinations. So don't believe your statement has merits. And I got sick from a worker fresh from China. But I went home and dealt with it. No one else got sick from me. First time I had be sick in decades.

    What country would that be?

So you believe the USA would be better off with no masks and no vaccinations?

    Thanks

I believe that has become the case here in TX as well, but am not sure. I do know that some elective surgeries had been available again this past spring, but the latest here is that at least some hospitals have suspended them again due to the current surge.

Gov. Greg Abbott asks Texas hospitals to delay nonessential procedures as COVID-19 patients strain capacity

A Texas hospital is so overwhelmed with COVID-19 cases that a man shot six times has waited a week for surgery (msn.com)

  11. It is my understanding that NONE of the oil from the Keystone XL pipeline would be available for use in the USA. The oil was to be transported by pipeline to Houston where it would be refined and sent to China. Also, I have seen others post that even thought the pipeline wont be built, oil that would have flowed through the pipeline is being transported to Houston by truck and train, so cancellation of the pipeline has virtually NO effect on oil supplies in the USA.

Fantastic book. I gave it to my family to read, so they would have a slight incling as to what living on the could be like.  The description of the low income aspect of RVing displayed in the book, which seems prevalant on the road, was sad.

I can only imagine what the road is going to be like with all the evictions starting, especially if many being evicted are able to somehow find an RV to live in.  The RTR group should pickup new members, and maybe somehow create a safetynet.

There is a safety net started by Bob Wells, it is called HOWA.
