me and the DW sold everything in 2015 and started full timing in our 2013 40' New Horizons and Ford F-350 and it did not take long to upgrade to the HDT. We sold the NH in 2016 and purchased a 2005 38' Newmar Mountain Aire we had one before the NH and felt it was just a better built RV then NH. Our first HDT was a 2010 Freightliner Cascadia and we bought it used just to see how we liked it as a tow vehicle did a 7,300 mile trip and we will never tow a large 5 wheel with a truck again (thanks Gregg). We replaced the FL with a new 2016 Western Star5700 and can't wait for our first trip with it.

I retired from the military in 2009 and the DW retired in 2016 we have one son who also full times in our first 38' mountain Aire while serving his country. We have two dogs both Great Danes and they are getting use to the RV life but they do love the HDT verses the PU the 72" sleeper gives them plenty of run.

If there is one thing I miss about sticks and bricks it would be my yard. I miss mowing my grass, I miss it so much I help them mow the RV park that we call home. We hang our hats in central Texas and keep our RV spot all year. The park owners cut use a deal and we pay for our site a year at a time (with a great discounted rate) and they give us credit while we are gone when they rent our site.
