Since the March North to Alaska Adventure HOP - Aurora Borealis aka Northern Lights HOP was so popular and filled up, the Escapees RV Club is offering it again! Please sign up as soon as possible, as this HOP will sell fast, too!

The Northern Lights are on most people’s bucket lists and the best way to see these magical dancing lights is to be there in person. In April, there is less daylight which leads to darker night skies.

Join your fellow Escapees and travel to Alaska to see the Aurora Borealis, better known as the Northern Lights.

Flying into Fairbanks, Alaska, this is a 6-night, 7-day journey in Alaska which includes tours with expert guides.

Registration includes:

· 6 nights, 7 days – Lodge stays in a beautiful snow-covered country setting.

· 7 days

· 6 hearty homemade breakfasts

· Accommodations to/from airport

· Sightseeing/transportation by motorcoach to the tours

· Admissions to all the tours

· Visit an Ice Sculpture museum - notice the delicate artwork in the ice sculptures.

· Sip an appletini in an ice-carved glass, at the ice bar, on ice seats. (Appletini not included in tour price)

· Enjoy a Dogsledding excursion through the snow-covered forest and learn about mushing and the dogs.

· See, meet, and learn about Reindeer.

· Visit the Museum of the North

· Tour Fairbanks and visit different sites in town.

· Visit the Trans-Alaska Pipeline

· Learn about the sport of Curling. Curling is more than what you would expect!

· Learn about the different seasons in Alaska.

· Try your skills at snowshoeing!

· Soak in a hot spring while surrounded by snow. Bring your bathing suits!

· Every night - weather permitting - see the Northern Lights!

· On the way back to the lodge from the tours, watch for moose!

· In the mornings, watch for Eagles!

· Do not worry about falling asleep and missing the Northern Lights. Our guide will wake us during the night. We will not miss anything!

Travel Insurance

We highly suggest you protect your financial investment on this HOP by purchasing trip insurance.

If you or a family member has a pre-existing medical condition, consider purchasing trip cancellation or interruption insurance. Air Flights into / out of Fairbanks, Alaska

By booking your flight independently, it will save you money.
Once booked, you must let Escapees know your flight name, number, time and date of departure, and arrival information. This is important so we can add you to the tour list and your complimentary transfers.
Please arrive in Fairbanks on April 3, 2022, between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. You must let Escapees know your flight information for your complimentary transfers and tours.
If you arrive early or stay later, you can board a complimentary shuttle from the hotel to the airport.
You may consider flying into Fairbanks on April 2, 2022, to help eliminate any delays by air travel. After all, you will not want to miss the tours if your plane arrives late.
When you register for this HOP, you will receive important information needed for your visit.
On April 9, 2022, make your arrangements to fly back to the lower 48 after 11:00 a.m., as you will not want to miss breakfast on the last day!

Land Cancellation Penalties:

*All land tour cancellations must be advised in writing no later than Monday, January 2, 2022.

Escapees RV Club – Covid policy:

· You will be asked to present a valid CDC vaccination card showing that you are fully vaccinated, or the written results of a negative COVID-19 test performed within the past 72 hours (3 days) of your arrival date.

By registering for this event, you are agreeing to the following:

As an attendee, you assume all risk and danger relating to your personal property, RV, and attendance at the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event. In the event of loss or theft, no claim will be made upon Escapees, its volunteers, employees or agents.
Volunteers may be directing and assisting you in your parking areas. However, it is the driver of the vehicle who is ultimately responsible for avoiding obstacles or dangerous situations and is solely responsible for any damage to one’s property or the property of others.
As an attendee at this event, you are granting your permission to be filmed, videotaped, audiotaped or photographed, and granting to Escapees RV Club the full use of any such recordings or images without compensation.
By registering, you will also receive occasional email notifications of future HOPs; however, you can opt-out of these notifications at any time.
In addition to the above, you will be required during registration to agree that you will help provide a safe environment for everyone by complying with our health and safety rules, and to release Escapees from liability should you become ill during the event.
