Stained Ceiling

Recommended Posts

I have a 99 Newmar Star fifth wheel with a, for lack of a better way to describe it, carpeted ceiling. I had a small leak around my TV antenna that stained the ceiling material. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove those stains. Thanks for any suggestions.

We have a 2002 Travel Supreme with carpet ceiling (off-white). I used Clorox with Bleach kitchen and bathroom cleaner and a soft toothbrush. Worked like a charm. I tested it on the ceiling inside a cabinet first to make sure it didn't discolor. I think a diluted bleach solution might work also but didn't test it since Plan A worked so well. Good luck! ~ Susan
You fixed the leak first, right? ;)

FYI, there are RV places that will put a fan in your door, and pressurize the coach with a couple of pounds. They then spray soapy water anywhere there could be a leak, and you KNOW you got it.
