TxCowboy
Looks like we're going to be full timing very soon. We believe the house is going on the market in the next few weeks. Looking to join Escapees and using the Livingston address as our domicile, since we're already long term Texas residents. A couple of questions...OK, a few. 1. Do you have to go to Livingston to sign any Escapee membership paperwork? 2. Do you have to go to Livingston to get your Texas license issued (or re-issued) because of the change to the Livingston address? 3. Do you have to re-register your vehicles with the Polk County offices for tax purposes? 4. What about voter registration cards and candidacy for jury duty? Anything we've missed that we need to know about? Thanks!

TxCowboy
OK, good read. An Escapee membership plus a couple of address change notifications will take care of most of the important things.
Barbaraok
We did everything online once we got the address - joined over the phone. In fact it was 8 months later before we got to Livingston. Really a piece of cake when you are already a Texas resident. Barb
