We applied, did a Skype interview, and were told they wanted to hire us as soon as we could start. We had another commitment so it would be a couple of months before we could start. In the mean time we could not get a final commitment from them. Every time we talk to them they said they were checking references but they were not because we checked. Only 1of the 6 references we listed was contacted so we don't know what was up. We took that as sign since we could not get a straight answer from them and moved on. We applied and were accepted for a location up in the mountains of NM - but being newbies at the time (at least eighteen months ago) I declined because we were concerned about the cold temperatures and possibly remote living conditions. They eventually offered us a better location (Pikachu Peak) but we'd already made our minds up and another opportunity had presented itself. The skype interview was a pretty weird experience though. The salesman/head hunter (JR, if memory is correct) was friendly enough but alongside him sat a blonde haired lady apparently from the corporate office, face as deadpan as deadpan could be, and she barely spoke a word during the whole interview.
