Well, the news this morning isn't any better. The fire is still out of control. But for me personally, it's not a threat. It is still about 6 miles west of me and burning north and south near the river. I'm planning to stay parked right beside the container and ride out the afternoon winds.
Dave - please keep giving us updates so we know you and Millie are okay. And Lee - stay where you are!!

April 2- 4 Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park in Crystal River, FL. Nice park with large spaces. Activities looked to be numerous over the winter months but not now since snowbirds are leaving. A bit rustic and wooded but pleasant. We went to Homosassa Springs State Park and that was really nice. A bit pricey for grass sites but we got here after April 1st so price went down a little.

Carol - when are you guys leaving Florida. Have you had any of this nasty weather I keep seeing on the news?

Got to meet DonF and Fannie tonight at dinner. Jeri, Eric, Karla, Sherry, and Sharon joined us also at Famous Dave's and we had a great time. Good food, good company, new and old friends - what more could you want.
-
Lee - that is one of the best stories ever. I love it when people get what they so richly deserve. Sure glad you're keeping that wind over your way.
-
Steve - that is the greatest news ever. We are all going to party on April 8 for you. Yippee!!!
-
Jeri - what road did you take?
-
Geri - so sorry to hear about the Jeep. Are you okay? Jim understands Terry's frustration with flying. It's just not fun anymore even though sometimes it's a necessity.

Hey Lee - TorC does have a Wally World. We spent a month in Elephant Butte and loved the area.

You know what - we haven't heard from Shadowtracks in quite a while. They seemed to have disappeared into that reserve in NM. Hi guys - how is the workcamping going?
I know there are a lot of you out there that hopefully are at least lurking. Sure would be nice to have a post every once in awhile so we know how everybody is doing.
Jim's been fishing - but yesterday he said there were just too many people and boats out there so he's not going out today. It's going to cool down a little bit here today - only mid 80's which is nicer than the 90's we've been having.

Double Yippee for Terry!!!

Pa and D
Jim's expertise would be fishing (he lives for it) and mine would be reading
I'm hoping we can track you guys down in WY sometime this summer. So be aware.

Okay everybody - we're going to give this a try. I want to combine the Classes of 2008/2009 forum threads into one thread. We all seem to post back and forth on both of them now so this should make it easier for us and we ony have to post info once.
Let me know what you think of the name. Change it? Any suggestions welcome.
And everybody else out there reading this - even if you aren't from the Class of 2008 or 2009 please join in. We would love to hear from anyone who may be close to us so we can get together.

We are parked at the Tropicana Express in Laughlin and I had n IYQ night. The garbage trucks came through at 4:20 this morning. However, I refused to get up so I laid in bed and whined to myself for a couple of hours. On to Las Vegas today.
