What have I missed about California?

Pulling out of Ohio this Saturday....EARLY. Heading West. We'll spend Labor Day Weekend at friends outside Indiananopolis, IN. Then on to Utah for several weeks. Yahoo! Paul

If I remember correctly, and if things haven't changed, only South has the dump station. See you guys there!

We too will be WHERE EVER once the date is established...ha ha! We want to hit the Q RV Show for at least a day trip but that is doable from Yuma. Maybe we should plan on a date later in January????? Again, doesn't matter to us and we certainly aren't the ones to make the decision...LOL Safe travels everyone!

We want to spend a couple days at Q during the RV Show but other than that have no big plans. We'll be there! Can't boon dock too much....no solar and only a couple batteries and a Honda. It will be good to re-unite with old friends and meet all the new ones!

WOW Steve that was a bunch of work for a good price. Bet it makes you feel good to have the bus serviced and all ready to roll for another year! You should be in good shape now! Be safe........

We stopped at Pequod's last year and you're right.....IT'S GOOD!

Sounds like here in Ohio, Sandie. We too have had hot & humid weather with nearly nightly thunderstorms cooling things off for sleeping (nice). Then it heats up again in the morning and repeats itself. We are leaving Ohio right after Labor Day too. Heading West! Will spend time in Utah and then probably AZ or NM before heading to TX for holidays. Then AZ for the winter.....at least those are the plans at this minute.....LOL

I know that itch.....I got it too!

Marsha & I are planning on AZ and the Southwest again this year. We will run up to Q (at least for a few days) during the RV Show. I think we will head that way after spending the holidays in Houston. Hope to see all our old friends!

Surprisingly, the Ohio weather has been unbelievable good....for NE Ohio. I expected RAIN, RAIN, RAIN, but have had very little. Couple cool mornings but all-in-all very nice. I was surprised how great the weather has been in Washington & Oregon this spring. Were froze there last spring and got soaked! See things have returned to "normal."

How does the park feel about dumping gray water???? Some places like you to dump it around trees and bushes to water them. Get one of those caps you put on the discharge valve and attach a hose. If that is permitted you could probably go a couple weeks before having to dump the black tank. We've been in several places that encourage that practice, especially in these draught times. Be worth asking about!

Dumping periodically would be the biggest pain in the rear! No long hot showers....ahhhhhh!

Uck......We've been pretty fortunate in NE Ohio with good weather.....but what the heck, it's nearly May.

So far, so good. We followed the sun to NE Ohio on April 15, but it sure isn't spring here. Temps are fine but trees, etc...still look like winter! Suppose to be pretty nice for the foreseeable future - we'll see.

A little to late for you Freddy but I just installed a "Bedsaver" on my 5th wheel hitch to prevent this very thing. Never know when s..t is going to happen. I agree. I don't post often and haven't been to a reunion in several years, but I do enjoy reading posts of people I actually know. Unfortunately, I haven't met many of the new members of the Class -Less class. Gonna have to get out to AZ again soon! Paul
