I have never seen anyone drive a metal rod into the ground when using a portable genset, for any use. Now if you have an EMS in your RV, you must  make a 15A plug with a jumper between neutral and ground, then plug it into the genset; otherwise the EMS will trip out to prevent what it perceives to be a ground fault.

Kirk, John T, and other sparkys, If I'm wrong there, please correct my thoughts.

    Dear Ray,

Thanks a ton for your nice replay. actually what is happened with me i have shared.

will take listen in your suggestion and hope so it will help a lot.

Are you asking what Kodiak brake kit to buy to convert your brakes from electric to hydraulic? If that is the question, we will need to know the axle rating and the make of the axle to help. That info will be on a tag somewhere on the axle.

    Dear Recipient,

thanks for your response and yes i am looking for the same.

will revert you soon with axle rating

  3. Just purchased a car that was listed here. Highly rated dealer on this site. But when I looked at other review sites, same dealer was trash. DO NOT TRUST these sites reviews. They are ALL fluffed to look great. You can find this statement in the sites far section. So unless I'm seriously mistaken again. Do yourself a favor check elsewhere.

The problem could be either something in the a/c unit or the choice of generator. Keep in mind that not all RV a/c units are the same capacity and they have different power requirements. I have a small travel trailer and operate our air conditioner with power from a standard, 15a house outlet often and have powered it from a 2000 watt inverter/generator. Without being there with a clamp-on ammeter to see what the a/c is actually drawing we can only guess at what may be the problem. It would help some to know more about your RV and the a/c that you have. Does your RV have a 50a or a 30a power cord? What is the BTU rating of your a/c and what make and model is it?

Dear Kirk, many thanks for your nice replay. please note its 30a power cord and i am agree with you as each RV a/c aren't in a same range!

  5. When trying to run my camper's AC through a generator it kicks the breaker just after a few second. I can plug it into a household outlet and the AC runs fine. I have tried up to a 5000 watt generator with similar consequences. I see much smaller generators running camper's AC all the time.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

  6. The benefit of one over the other is system-specific, but in parallel the voltage remains the same and the amperage is greater than before, and in series the amperage remains the same and the voltage is bigger. So, if your system necessary more amps but less power you might go with parallel, or if you needed more voltage then you might go with series.
