Sure would like to help everyone out with all the wind. We would love to have some of it up here in the northeast. Maybe it would help to dry out our campground. We are still trying to recover from the river flooding, and now its been raining for the past 2 days and it's supposed to continue off and on for the next week. Maintenance says they will need a week of dry weather and another week to clean up the sites. I'm afraid there are going to be a lot of disappointed people when we have to call to cancel their reservations

We had a scare this morning...awoke to the wind howling and thunder and lightning and rain. Thank God we were parked between a couple of 18 wheelers that blocked a lot of the wind. Left the casino in Wilkes Barre about 7:00 and pretty much stayed right behind the storms all the way into New York. Hit a little rain every once in a while but not too much wind. Guess the bad wind was at the front of the storm. We are now safely tucked into our site here in New York for the summer. Going to be interesting since all the lower part of the park in under water!! I will try to post some pictures soon. Everyone have a great summer and remember if you come this way give us a call!! PS the trees have not one bud yet!!! Get to go through spring again!!

Get better soon Delcie. Hope this doesn't spoil your plans for the summer. We are expecting some thunderstorms here in Livingston tonight. Lets hope we don't have any lightning induced fires around this area. They are calling for winds today, but as of yet it isn't too bad.

As far as I know thats the only one that will be vacant. Right now they are all full. Hopefully someone will pull out Monday morn.

Well if you head to the NorthEast in April of 2012 you better hope its not like this year. We have to head back to New York to be there the end of April and they still have about a foot of snow on the ground!! We are just hoping for some warm weather and some of that wind so it will dry out all the mud!! We have had a little wind here in Livingston but nothing like what you guys are talking about. Ed got the MH washed yesterday and will start waxing a little each day. Hey Marsha and Paul...site 67 will be open on Sunday. Can you come a day early?

Guess so!! Pretty bad when you are glad to see Diesel under $4. It's been running around 3.89 pretty much everywhere, except of course CA where it was almost $4.50 a gallon. We did make it in and out of CA without having to get fuel!!

We have had an uneventful trip across Texas and should be pulling into Livingston sometime tomorrow. Found out all of the Escapee parks (Not the coops) are extending their pay for 15 stay for 20 days. Now you get 8 days free. Also if you want to pay for 30 days you get an additional 20 days. This is to offset the price of gas. We should be leaving Livingston around the 17th but will still go ahead and pay for 15. Paul & Marsha....see ya there!

Yes we are hurrying through sorry. Want to be in Deming tomorrow night before the wind picks up. We had enough of the cold weather in CA and it was a wild ride down the 15 to the 10 freeway. Lots of heavy fog. But once we got out of the mountains, it was sunshine and warmth. We plan on spending about 2 weeks in Livingston finally getting to our spring cleaning. The coach is so dirty. I know Paul and Marsha will be there around that time also. Anyone else??

OMG guess we really need to be careful because thats 2 accidents. SIL Mark was coming home Friday night and was 2 cars behind a car that was hit head on by a drunk 17 yr old going the wrong way on the freeway! Hit some debris and bent up the bumper but 5 minutes sooner and it could have been him. We got our inverter/charger fixed today. Was a simple fix really, had to take the control of the inside panel, unplug and re plug...that resets it!! Who knew!! $190 for a really great lesson. Repair guy was really good at explaining everthing. Learned a lot.

We tried the breaker on the inverter/charger first thing. The generator isn't tripped because there is power coming into the motorhome.

Checkin in from Acton California! It's been raining all day here and the creeks are running pretty fast. Just went to the small market here in Acton. We are sitting with our generator running as the power in the park is bad and to top it off our batteries aren't charging. Don't know if its the batteries or the freedom power intervter/charger thats gone bad. Pray it stops raining tomorrow so we can take the batteries and have them checked first. Had a good weekend with the kids and grandkids though. Spent yesterday shopping for prom dresses for granddaughter. Why is a 17 yr old girl so picky!@!! She did finally find something though so that was good.

Great news Terry!! We are still here in Acton, CA. Been busy visiting family and friends. Going to sons house tonight for there yearly St. Patricks Day party. Lots of people and corned beef and cabbage. They are expecting some hard rain here in the next couple of days. Hope we don't wash away. We have decided to go back the southern route to Texas when we leave here on the 27th. Should be in Livingston by the 1st of April.
