  1. Which Island are you visiting? Could be a little on the warm side there. We may change our plans also, thinking maybe Cliff Side Park on NAS Whidbey. Will check there availability today.
  2. Yep sounds like Jeri is taking me to Hawaii. THANKS JERI. Joe Oh well, it was funny in my head. Reality is we will miss seeing you guys. Have Fun
  3. Hey Jeff, Well them folks down in "Slumattle" can have it. Here "They" are predicting 70's for the next 10 days with several of them being in the HIGH 70's. Here on the Island, read God's Country, that is to HOT. However I have the AC going in the MH which is parked in Space #1 at Spiker's RV Resort and I also have plenty of Ice and BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD Whiskey, so will somehow manage to get through this heat wave. Joe
  4. Ok Lee, I know you have been working on getting rid of the HOT weather down your way, but you sent it to the wrong place. WE don't need temperatures above 70 degrees here. Now "They" are saying it will be in the HIGH 70's all next week. Oh well it will be good for A\C Sales. Sharon and I had a great time visiting with Jeri and Terry earlier this week. Lots of good food and fun times. And yes we talked about ALL of you. But I promised not to tell just what we said. Ok, time to turn on the A\C here. Joe
  5. Thanks Jeri, I Think. Oh shoot, now I'm gonna have to plan more parties and cook for them also. It was a good day and I enjoyed it as much as anybody else. And Steve, I enjoyed enough of the BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD Whiskey for both of us. Was GREAT seeing Jeri, Terry, and Duchess again. Looking forward to our next meeting. Oh and ALL of your ears should have been burning cause we talked about everyone. Joe
  6. Hmmmm Summer weather, stayed cloudy all day today and the wind had a bite to it. However it was Opening Day of Crab Season here in the PNW. So we took the pots out and sent out Dinner Invitations. Ended up bringing home a total of 15 nice Dungeness and we threw another 7 or 8 Legal one's back for later. So tomorrow along with running another 7 racks of Baby Backs through the Smoker we also need to pick the meat outta a bunch of Crab. Joe
  7. Our weather was back to normal here yesterday. Little breeze and about 65 degrees. Made for a very nice day. So I just had to crank up the Smoker and see about doing some ribs. Seems I had 6 racks of Baby Backs in the fridge all marinaded up and ready to go. Joe
  8. Well after a couple days of not so wonderful weather, it's supposed to be almost 70 here today. And even hotter the rest of the week. Going to take a bunch of Baby Back Ribs outta the freezer today. Need to get them thawed so I can Marinade them and run them through the Smoker. Gotta a Party going down here on the 5th. Gonna be lots of Friends, Food, Cranberry Juice, and BAAAAAAAAAAD Whiskey. Joe
  9. Lee, not a problem. Up here on the Island we tell everyone that it never stops raining. Jeri, Guess that depends on how much of it we eat before we come over to meet up with you guys. Oh and it might also depend on how many we manage to catch also. With Opening Weekend being over the 4th of July I'll most likely only get 1 day of crabbing in before we meet. I refuse to leave my pots out over the 3 day weekend. No sense catching crab only to have my pots get robbed. Joe
  10. Jeri, Don't want Lee to send the weather up here. Was just suggestiong he leave it there and come up here to cool down. Yep Salmon in the Smoker is goooooooooooooood, but it's even better when you couple it up with some BAAAAAAAAAD Whiskey. Now something else that happens up here in the PNW is Dungeness Crab and that season opens next Thursday. MMMMMMMMMMMMM Fresh Crab, Smoked Salmon, and BAAAAAAAAAAAAD Whiskey for the 4th. Joe
  11. Hey Lee, with all that HOT weather down there, maybe you ought to head up towards the PNW for a while. Up here we start complaining when it gets above 75. Something like 3 or 4 times a year. Steve, found an ole Salmon laying around in the freezer the other day so I just had to thaw it out and then crank up the Smoker. MMMMMMMM Joe
  12. Hey Steve, just mix a bit of that BAAAAAAAAAAAd Whiskey with Carol's Med's and she won't care what you feed her. Seriously though, glad to hear she's doing well. Tell her HI for me and I'm pulling for her to be back on them Tennis Courts real soon. Joe Now I'm thinking those Men in Black may have payed Linda a visit also, she sure is being quiet.
  13. Dang Lee, your supposed to be on MY side. And I really don't think that place we had lunch, notice I did not call it a restaurant, would have had any of that BAAAAAAAAAAD Whiskey. On top of that I think both Jeri and Sharon would have whacked my noggin if I had ordered it. (and I'm sure Linda would have joined them) Really to bad the place I liked to eat out there burned down last year. That place we ended up was a real poor excuse of a place to eat. Yep, looking forward to meeting up in August. And now I'll be on the look out for anything that even closely resembles Kool Aid. Joe
  14. Hey, I didn't say anything about Linda, but we're still trying to find out where them boys in the Black Suburbans took Ed. Jerry and Janice, Thanks for the vote of confidence. Joe
  15. Yep yesterday was a great day with friends Jeri and Terry. And it was good finally meeting the Lavins, Ed and Linda. However I have to add a few things to their post about our trip back from Friday Harbor on the Ferry. First though I need to warn you all that Washington State is one of the BLUE States on the Political Map. That being said, Ed made some seemingly inocent statement about our "Liar in Chief" and the next thing you know the Coast Guard showed up. Those boys escorted Ed off the boat and the last we saw of him he was being loaded into a Black Suburban by a bunch of guys in Black Suits wearing ear buds. So I'm just guessing the above post from the Lavins was made by Linda as she sits in their RV waiting, and hoping, for Ed's return. Now that's MY story and I'm sticking to it. Joe
  16. Hey Steve, Tell Carol I'm pulling for her. Another friend had her knee replaced about a month ago and is doing great. Her words were that even though it hurt to do the damn exercises it has really paid off that she did them. Actually she did them more than required and is way ahead on her recovery. Actually I'll hoist a glass, or 3, of some BAAAAAAAAAD Whiskey for her quick recovery. Supposed to meet up with Jeri and Terry as well as the Lavins tomorrow. You can bet we're gonna talk about the whole bunch of you guys. Joe
  17. Right on. Glad your having a good time out there. It is one of my favorite places to go for a day trip. Have you learned about "The Pig War" yet? You also need to see English Camp. Oh and the run out to Cattle Point is nice also. See you Thursday, have a good time tomorrow. Joe
  18. Ok, so are you there yet? We are looking forward to our trip out to see you guys also. If the weather is in the mid 60's it should be a really nice day out there. But then any day that the sun shines in the San Juans is a nice day. Joe
  19. Hey Lee, if you need any of that Baaaad Whiskey your gonna have to wrassel with Steve. Seems he bought out the production run of it for this year, so the rest of us are having to make do with something else. Glad to hear that your getting things checked out though. Heck someone needs to keep all them Cowgirls in line. Like Jeri said, weather up here is dang near perfect. And of course I'm stuck WORKING. Joe
  20. Sorry to hear this Linda, never easy to lose a loved one. Joe
  21. Oh Ya, but I just had to throw a SNOWball your way. Joe
  22. Been reading about all the folks having bad weather in the midwest, like Jeff and Tina with their SNOW in Colorado. So I headed over to the Olympic National Park to see if I could find any of that stuff. Got up to a place called Hurricane Ridge and managed to get this picture for you all. Joe
  23. Today was Service Day for "the Doghouse". So after that was done I decided to just head on up in the hills for a few days. Dang near burned the tires off this thing pulling that durn pin though. Got all set up and decided it was time for a Steve. Woke up to rain. Oh Well got lots of Cranberry Juice so let it pour. Joe
  24. Sounds ok to me, just have to make sure it doesn't interfer with my Mexico Fishing Trip. Joe
  25. The weather is turning up here in the PNW. Supposed to be 65 here today. So of course i have to WORK. Joe Just thought I'd throw that 4 letter word out there to get yo'alls Blood Pressure back up to normal
