  1. Yep 3 groups and what else was there to do but go out to dinner. So there we were, Doug, Toni, Terry, Jeri, Shelly,(Jeri's cousin) and myself sitting outside at the Boulder Dam Brew Pub eating, drinking, and talking about everybody that wasn't there. It was a very good time and the weather was perfect. But all good things must end, or so THEY say. I'll be moving on down the road this morning, heading for Winterhaven and yet more good times with more friends. Joe
  2. Yep life is just full of surprises. And we got to talk about everyone that wasn't there. Was some mention of Baaaaaaaaaaad Whiskey also, even though we all behaved ourselves. Hey Steve, if you and Carol had been in Ocean Shores last weekend you guys could have been in this picture also. Joe
  3. Yep that pretty much says it all. Spending the later part of the day with good friends having good food and then to top it off with a party, just don't get much better than that. Well it does, but at that point it's illegal. Joe
  4. Right on, does that mean I need to sneak outta town real soon? Joe
  5. Steve and Sandy, well that may be, but where I'm sitting now it's 70 degrees and the SUN is shining.
  6. Thanks Jeri, and actually you guys did a good job on that song in person. Made it to the Boulder City Elks about 1 today and as soon as I got set up, Jeri and Terry were here and off we went to late lunch/early dinner. Good food and GREAT company and you know we talked about each and everyone of you. Joe
  7. Sitting here in Hawthorne, NV this morning and the temperature is 27 degrees. Dang will it ever warm up? Had a short day yesterday, was set up oin the park by noon. After a short Steve I did laundry and just goofed off. Should find myself in Lost Wages area before today is over. Joe
  8. Sounds like a good day. Just thought you might be interested in the temperature up here in Susanville, 31 degrees this morning. Glad I'm working my way south. See you guys on Thursday. Guess that means I'll miss both Steve and Denise. Joe
  9. Right on Steve, but I think I know where there is some more. Joe
  10. I managed to get a lil closer to that fabled city of Lost Wages today. Currently enjoying some BAAAAAAAAAAAAD Whiskey in the Susanville RV Park. On the road today I saw lots of that White Stuff(since this is a family forum I'll refrain from using the 4 letter word that really describes it) And since they are predicting a low temperature of 23 degrees tonight, I decided that Walmart(which I can see from here) would not be an option. Joe
  11. Yep I'm on the road looking for Lost Vegas. Made it to Timber Valley SKP in Sutherlinn today. Thinking I'll be there sometime Thursday. And Steve, I got's me some of the Baaaaad Whiskey. Joe
  12. Lee, that doesn't sound good. Hope things are better this morning and that you did get some rest. Joe
  13. That's as in Looking through the Jello Ball. I don't bother writing my plans in chalk as I had to spend to much time cleaning the erasers. Joe
  14. Right on, guess I best hide the Baaaaaad Whiskey. Joe
  15. Thanks, current "Jello Ball" planning is to spend November in Yuma, then to Pahrump, NV for the first part of December, Las Vegas the 13th - 17th of Dec. then head for home on the 18th of December. The only part of that I really have to stick to is being in Pahrump the 6th through the 11th of December. Hope to see some of you guys somewhere, but you know how that ole Jello Ball planning works. Joe
  16. Picked up my pin and moved it to another location today. Sitting here in Pacific Beach, WA looking at the FOG. However it doesn't matter, couple of glasses of Cranberry Juice and it will all be good. I'll be here till Monday and then I'll be "pickin em up and puttin em down" heading somewhere south. Joe
  17. Finally got that pesky pin of mine to move south today. I'm at the Evergreen Coho SKP in Chimacum, WA. Next stop Pacific Beach, WA for a few days before heading in a southerly direction. Not real sure if I should try to stop at Sutherlinn or not though. Don't know what Toni may have told them. Joe
  18. Heck I'll probably pass you guys sometime late this month. Going to start working that pin of mine next week. You might enjoy a meal at Gilberto's in Roseburg while your in the neighborhood. Very good Mexican Food. Joe
  19. Well you could show up a bit earlier, like in November. Or meet me in Vegas in mid December. I'll miss seeing everyone also. Joe
  20. Right on, I'll vote for BOTH OF THEM DATES. In reality though I hoist a Marguerita or 3 to you all as I'm fishing down in Mexico. Joe
  21. Right on, since I don't eat that stuff, I can only pass on what others have told me. There is a Place along the coast there, I think just south of Depoe Bay, called the Whale Cove Inn. My ex Father in Law said they had the best Clam Chowder he had ever eatin, but that was a long time ago and the ownership has changed. So I can't say anything about their food anymore. However the Rogue Ale Brew Pub in Old Town Newport has good grub also. Travel Safe, Joe
  22. Well you guys need to head down to Depoe Bay for dinner with Terry and Jeri. Gracie's Sea Hag has excellent seafood. Shoot, Jeri might even like their Clam Chowder. Home for now, but headed back up near 'EH" land again Thursday. Joe
  23. Yep and as part of that WORKING thing I got to move my pin again. Now sitting so close to the Canadian Border I can hear the "EH's". Hated to have to leave Doug and Toni, but duty calls. You all have fun tomorrow, hear? Joe
  24. Hmmmm maybe it's a good thing I'll be gone when he hit's Pilot Knob. Joe
  25. Thanks, wasn't anything special. Shoot if folks can't be there that early I can just head back north in Dec. like I've been planning. Nothing wrong with Christmas at home. And I do need to have time to get ready for MEXICO. Joe
