Roger, hmmmm seems to me that we would have been in the same RV Resort in Bakersfield had I stopped last November. When the Air Quality is as bad as it was then, I will always continue on. Took several Ibuprofen and 300 miles to get rid of the headache that happened from just driving through Bakersfield that day. My original plan was to spend several days in Bakersfield visiting family. Would not have been a good time as I would have been down with a splitting headache the whole time. Not the way I normally travel though. Joe

Geez guys, just a little bit more and you could have been out on the coast. My longest day so far has been Sutherlinn, OR to Bakersfield, CA, just a tad over 750 miles. Not one I care to repeat. However last November I ended up doing Pahrump, NV to Red Bluff, CA in one day. Air quality in Bakersfield was to bad for me to stop. Again not a day I care to repeat. So how far north you guys planning to go? Joe

Roger, Nope, it's still pretty narrow through Tillamook. Glad we were in a car for that trip. Unfortunately the Air Museum has lost their major contributor. The owner of a majority of the planes they had on display has pulled his planes and is storing them somewhere else now. Oh well, life goes on. it was still a nice trip down the coast and of course we had to stop at the Cheese Factory, the Girls needed an Ice Cream fix. Thanks Toni, but it's back home tomorrow. Joe

We are in Seaside, Or for a few days. Weather here has been fantastic, high 50's during the day and not to cold at night. Have spent most of the last 2 days exploring things in Astoria,OR. Lots to see and do here and with it being winter, not a whole lot of people or traffic to fight. Heading to the beach today and then a trip to Tillamook Museum of Flight tomorrow and maybe a stop at the Cheese Factory. Joe

Congratulations Linda. Now on a more serious note. We are just a week away from the Super Bowl. Being a Hawks Fan I wanted to know a little more about our upcoming adversaries. Everyone know that the Seahawks have their 12th man, but I discovered this little known fact about the Patriots. They also, quietly, boast a 12th man. Oh Ya, back when I had Season Tickets there were many games I sat in the stadium till the bitter end hoping for a good ending. Didn't happen much then, but if it had I'd have seen it. Interesting though now, seems like the Patriots may have been caught CHEATING again. Yet they will still play in the Super Bowl. Also funny, Vegas hasn't picked either team to win, odds are even for the game at this point. Steve, only reason I'm not eating them dang feathers is cause my 2nd team won. However I hope you don't eat to many of them HAWKS feathers cause they will need them to FLY on Feb. 1st. Joe

Roger, With 4 minutes left in the game I sent messages to friends that the game was over. I was reaching for the Baaaaaaaaaaad Whiskey to help get that over sized Black Bird to go down. The other folks watching with me felt the same way and we ALMOST turned the game off. Your right, it was something to behold and will most likely become one of the great games in playoff history. All that aside, in the Big Dance 2 weeks from now, Seattle's Offense will need to play a bit more than 10 minutes of good football if they are gonna repeat. Joe GO SEAHAWKS

Yep, entered those numbers in my GPS and I ended up back at Spiker's RV Resort on Beautiful Whidbey Island, WA. Congratulations to Steve and Carol on the sale of Bessie Bus 1.
