Drugs and Supplements   from the Mayo Clinic

    Clonidine (Transdermal Route)

yes that paper was given to me with the drug.

the drugs the Drs give us these days sound far worse the the ailment.

but i see on your "listing" you were one of those who climbed down into a tin-can and went under water.

My hat is double off for you. Thank You for your service.

  2. well as of today's Dr visit, my bp was 178/82/62. ( there machine ) and i am getting fat now up to 231 pounds. and here it was i thought i had lost some weight.

my Dr gave me a new drug. it is a patch thing. in a week or so the blood testing should be done. they took six tubes of blood.

have not used my home unit yet, but sounds like it is a bad unit.

and he said the nose bleed was due to a dry nose, allergy thing.

  3. i see my Dr in less than 24 hrs. no same day, heck no same week.  with kaiser. the emg room cost's $100.usd. can not afford to go see a Dr out of plan on my own.  i made this appt at least a week back, so on it.

my Dr knows about the "odd" bloody nose. says not bp problem. as they do not happen often. and they are not bad. just not fun. the body should not leak.

last time there? about a month back. as to public facilities? here in ca only money works. and it is in very short supply for me.

when i go in, my bp numbers are high. thus all the drugs i have to buy. and yes i see him every month or two. just wish his office was closer, cost's $$ + plus couple hr's drive, to go see him. (i live in the hills, not a city).

and when i woke up this am. 188/89/62 right out of bed. and yes i will take the new arm tester in with me.

no i do not want to die, but do not care if it happens. (one has no say in this)  a good 10 times in my life i should have been dead, so i figure i am on extended time.

i owe so much, to many creditors, so if nothing else i get the last laugh on them. serve's them right for jacking up the %rate to 39.99%.

  4. well just now.

i have been looking at homes on line (west Virginia), just now 11:pm 200/91/54. about to fall asleep. but need to stay up due to i work the over night hrs. but on my weekend now.

am i doing the arm thing right? is it correct? it is a new one, as the old one was cutting my arm off. the strap kept slipping to one side of the loop and the unit keep airing up. this one is rounded formed so no "strap" to slip.

  5. tonight it was 189 over 87.

i may have a kaiser plan, but i can not afford to get stuck in a hospital. need to care for my mom. but i do have a Dr appt this wed.

went through a lot of tissue as i had to keep blowing my nose. after a bit i looked at it and it was blood. get bloody noses every month or two. my Dr says not cause of the bp.

  6. been on the drugs for some time now, but of late even with the drugs i am pushing 200 over 90 of late. lots of stress right now. but the dot does not care.

and all my "other" numbers are good. even my psa.

  7. with my job, i just know one day a year i lose a hrs sleep. and one day a year i get a extra hrs sleep. nothing else changes.

if the feds want to save on energy. then just turn off all the street signs (ad's that is) across this nation aka no flood lights burning all night. have half the street lights turned off, and tell company's no lights on between 8 pm and 6 am.

  8. i may lose my med card this year, my bp numbers are not the same as a 16 year old athlete. i am 62 in poor health.

if i lose my med cert, i lose my job and will be forced into bankruptcy, and early retirement. and lose everything except a broken truck (20K for a new motor). and my rv. no place to store all my junk till i can off load it. so i will not worry about any regs from the government.

  9. not there, but did look into many a web site. and the best price was from nfpa. shipping.handling..(and forgive the dirty word) tax.

but at the pricing. i guess i get to work using my own code, not the governments.

  10. kinda late here, but there are "better" out there for less money than the bb company units.

as to heat. even a cheep hose warmer will keep them nice and toasty. but only if you enclose them in something with insulation. pending some things just the batteries them selves can keep up the temps, in a large ice chest, it will do the trick. pending you are not camping in Alaska in January.

but there are some out there with built in heaters.

go to u-tube search for Will Prowse.  all questions will be answered.

  11. i have seen a number of these, varied manf styles, but the twin wheel looks to be the best. -interesting link above for a twin wheel, twin dolly set up.-

on the unit, both frame connections must hinge up and down. with no side to side play.

as to the tires... due to there small size i would say keep it under 55 mph. tiny tires will get hot much faster and easier than all the others. keep up on the cold air psi. what is there weight rating? keep the total under 75% of that. are the wheel assemblies sprung? solid?

  12. custom "pork chop"twin tanks. only uses the space in front of the wheel wells, say about 8 inch wide.

just tell the fab shop it is for liquid storage. NOT FOR FUEL.

but keep in mind gasoline is limited to 50 gallons each tank, or less, diesel is good to go up to 200 gallon tanks (never heard of larger).

then the weight of the fuel, more fuel = more weight = less mpg.

remember the Saturn 5 moon rockets, 99% of the weight was fuel. ---6.2 million pounds-- the crew was only in that little capsule on top.

  13. the new ed is out, any way escapees can get a discount for members? as the cost in some sites has it over $100.USD. amazon has a "well torn up" for $65.USD.

also a ansi/rvia low voltage for rv book. $50.USD

maybe even a npfa 70 nat electric codes? $150.USD up to $250,USD pending binding.

all three books will help those of us building, rebuilding, just fixing problems in our rv 's.

none of these books tell you what to do, they just let you know how to do it the safe way.

  14. lets see burn gasoline/diesel and make smog at the tail pipe.

    or

burn coal in a huge power plant poising the ground ground water and air for tens of miles around. then transmit the juice to your home. and limited to less than 200 miles travel on a "full tank", 12+ hr charging delay to return home.

and the electric motors make bad ozone directly.

still going to have tire dust, and brake dust. no way to get away from that.

Anyone using the phrase "There will never be ......." broadcasts their inability to imagine.   Most kids today do not understand the reference to "Dick Tracy Watch", but they are wearing them!   People laughed when Steve Jobs said he wanted a computer in every home,  we now have 2 computers, 2 smartphones and a tablet in ours.   My grandfather was born in 1880, lived on the Montana prairie, where he rounded up wild horses for the Army, owned a livery stable where the first cars were serviced,  helped build Grand Coulee Dam, and flew in a commercial airline before he died.  Mom was born in a Soddy on that Montana prairie in 1922 and lived to be 97.  The number of changes in her lifetime were huge.  She even flew to Australia with her granddaughter in 1999.  She never could figure out how to use a computer, but was always thrilled for us to pull up things for her to read, etc.

I feel sorry for those who have lost the ability to imagine, to wonder at what is on the horizon and hope that the problems of tomorrow are conquered because people continue to dream and ask "Why Not?

can any of today's "kids" use a etch-a-scratch? most need a computer to tell them what to do, and/or do it for them.

While I'd agree that it looks to have been pretty preliminary, there have been several other tests by other companies that are working on it but I think that may have been the first without anyone in the cab to monitor things. There was a TV report out of El Paso done on the Dallas news several months ago that showed them riding along with a tech who was monitoring one of the trucks as it traveled in heavy traffic in that area. It appeared that the operator did nothing but monitor for safety but who knows for sure. It is kind of interesting that someone who defends Tesla's movement in that direction is critical of me posting a link to the truck story. I'm not sure why since I neither criticize nor defend the story, only point it out.  😊

In the community where we live there are numerous older drivers who I believe some of the features now being introduced like lane following and following too close would be a good thing! More autonomy might make some older drivers less risky?

you try driving with a camera a mic and buzzers and blinding lights on the dash. you do wrong you get wrote-up. with a couple you get layed off.  the lights and buzzers are a very big distraction. one even goes off from trees hat are not even close to the rd. auto breaking is a death trap. it cut my speed by 30 mph just because someone on the off-ramp hit there brakes. i was on the freeway. the rig behind me almost plowed into me. the auto release (aka anti skid) brakes bring some rigs to a hurkey jurky stop.

not all of this "new fangled" junk is worth a (*).

i have 40 years driving class A, no accidents. tickets are based on the county's cash needs.

want a computer driving 80K pounds down the hwy... we all know computer never fail.

but yes i see a lot of the new kids coming out of the shake-n-bake schools. they should get another line of work.

  17. biggest problem is company's sell your info, and scammers text, phone, email you, and make it sound like a company you do deal with is sending it.

i just received a text saying if i do not download something my phone service will be cut off. No listing of any company.

    just a 898 number.

and this was a hr after i received a text about a poll about a coming election.

  18. cold and clear. February 2 2022

some places get below freezing at night, but no fog in the area for a week now. some over cast days. a bit breezy today clear blue sky's, but cold.

(my weather thingy says it is 75F outside - wind chill, barometer says 29.90, 35% humidity, wind at 4-6 mph).

sad no rain in sight. another drought year.
