  1. We used to have Good Sam and tried to use twice.  Once for a lock out in Houston.  Said they sent a locksmith, but never showed.  2nd time, broke down in Whitney TX near Waco.  Took all day to get a wrecker to us to tow our coach to a Waco dealer.   Now have coverage through FMCA, which has great reviews.  Glad we have not had to use their coverage so far.

  2. When we park, 1st thing I do is plug in my Progressive Dynamics EMS.  I check the voltage on both incoming lines.  If low, I pull out my Hughes and plug it in.  Even when initial reading are OK, I check a couple of times during hot afternoons when electric usage is high.  We have only needed it a few times to boost voltage, but when we needed it, it preformed.

  3. Several tents, '75 Southwind 27', 24' Frolic TT, 29' Nomad TT, Starcraft popup, Jayco popup, Hi-Lo, 2003 Mobile Scout 30', 1983 Avion 34V (we restored), 2016 Reflection 35' 5 wheel, 2012 Tiffin Allegro Bus 40' and now in a 2019 Jayco Eagle HT 32.5'.  That makes 11 rigs + tents since 1984. We owned 2 sailboats we stayed on when we in between RVs.

  4. Our coach is diesel.  I have the EFS fuel card and fill up at truck stops in the truck lanes.  I have put as much as 125 gallons in my coach and it does not cut off until full.  Biggest advantage, I do not pay posted prices.  I paid fleet discount prices just like the truckers pay.  Usually saves me anywhere from $0.16 to $0.50 per gallon.  It is a debit card tied to my checking account, not a credit card.  Info can be found here:  https://www.tsdlogistics.com/services/fuel-program/  .  If you apply, it would be great if you would show Ronald Norton as the person who referred you.

  5. I had someone pull the arm an unlock my fifth wheel once.  I pulled out straight, trailer slide off fifth wheel.  By a stroke of good luck, I happened to be looking back in mirrors and saw it happening and stopped short keeping the trailer on the truck frame.  It was a bear cranking landing gear down and raising the trailer enough to get back under it.  Never again did I leave anyplace I stopped without checking for locked fifth wheel.  Even when towing our 35' fiver, I checked.

There are no fees for use of the card, only if you have insufficient funds in the account that is ach debited do they impose a fee...just like bouncing a check at a retailer.

They make their money as part of your discount,  so when you save money tsd gets a  10 percentage of the savings.  If you get no discount then they get nothing.

They are not selling you anything,  it cost nothing but your time to enroll.  There are no contracts. It is not a credit card or credit program,  rather a efs linked to a bank account for ach debit.

Yes you have to use the commercial lanes, swipe your efs card and enter your pin. The ach hits your account within a few days of the transaction.

As an example right now loves In ft pierce advertising diesel at 2.74 per gallon...tsd discount price is shown 1.93.....81 cents per gallon discount..tsd gets 8.1 cents per gallon and you get the remainder 72.9 cents per gallon  , paying round number of 2.02 per gallon.

The app shows you real time locations where the efs card is accepted as well as the per gallon price.

A great  program to save money on diesel with no downside , why would you not have it in your wallet as an option ?

There is a fee for using the TSD / EFS card.  It is 10% of your savings.  Look at your settlement statement when they deduct funds from your account.
