  1. Geeez Jeff, so sorry to hear this. Sure feel your pain. If there's anything that we can do to help, please give me a call. We're in Casa Grande till Jan. 15. Hopefully, you'll get that stubborn mule to start behavin'. R
  2. I heard that...and so it begins...LOL. Been quite awhile since we've seen rain here in Casa Grande. One of us us will break the streak! R
  3. OMG...I'm tellin' you Jeff that yer missin' the boat (ark?). What a great traveling gig. Communities will pay you to rain on them. I'm predicting a soggy Q this year...you heard it here first! R
  4. I just got an email for your post....maybe check your settings? I'd even try unchecking the box and rechecking. Sometimes that works for me. Stupid computers... R
  5. Welcome to the neighborhood. What brew pub are we gonna hit?!! R
  6. Didn't know that Dish offered RedZone. We have Directv and just pay for NFL Sunday Ticket. It shows every game in full time. We don't pay the extra for their version of RedZone. The Ticket is expensive enough. Apparently, Dish doesn't offer the Ticket? I think that the only reason to add RedZone is if you are into fantasy football (which we're not) and like to jump around to check on how your players are doing. R
  7. Yep, that's the Corpus Christi area for ya...and all that wind can blow salt air in from the Gulf. You can almost watch things rust. Spent a month there last year and we'll never go back! R
  8. 6 a.m...are ya kidding me? And no shelter at the inn? You sir, have landed at a certain level of RV repair purgatory! Good luck you two and hurry on over to AZ before your wheels freeze stuck! R
  9. Well, if I wanta stay there, I'd better stay there soon...your rig can't be over ten years. I guess we'll be low-life with ya...at least I'll be in good company! R
  10. LOL on the remote Jeff...bet you couldn't replicate that bounce move again if you tried! We were hoping to get into JoJoba after leaving Q but, may have to reconsider if they're booked up in November. I'd think that it would be even harder to get in during the end of January? And to think that some people make sport of me for making reservations... Happy Thanksgiving everyone...don't forget to leave room for some pie... R
  11. Count us in for Q on the 15th. Lookin' forward to seeing the gang again! After sitting in Casa Grande for three months, movin' the rig should be an adventure! R
  12. You have our sympathies Steve. Been in that RV purgatory ourselves and the waiting on just getting service is not fun! Hopefully, the accommodations are decent and at least it's free? R
  13. We were "thinking" of heading to Q when leave here Jan. 15. "Probably" still will...not a big fan of the Big Tent anyway. R
  14. I just found out that for those of you that are planning on attending the "Big Tent Show" in Q this year, according to the 2017 Visitor's Guide the Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show (The Big Tent) is scheduled for Jan. 21-29. R
  15. Steve, for Fall color you might try taking a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway heading north of Ashville. We were there on vacation many years ago and also thought that we were too early. We were advised by locals to take the drive and they were right...the leaves were beautiful at the higher elevation! Been to the Biltmore twice...it's quite the shack...LOL!! R
  16. You should charge them for your rain making skills! R
  17. After three months, you should have a good idea of what poor Lynn has to deal with...LOL!!! R
  18. 620 miles? Crikey, you did need a sun fix! Don't breathe the air there in B town...it'll curl your toenails...LOL! Nice and toasty here in AZ, but it's a "dry heat". Nuthin' like they get in Summer, I hear. We got here yesterday and Dave & Diane showed up today...great to be with the them again and look forward to seeing the rest of you guys soon! R & L
  19. Try and leave that stuff behind ya Jeff and safe travels to you both! We're pulling out of Sun City, AZ this a.m. and heading about 25 miles to Massey Diesel for the Beaver's "annual check up". Hopefully, it will all go well with no big surprises. Some of you know all too well our past experiences with service centers. I get the heebie jeebies just driving by 'em! R
  20. So sorry to hear about your Dad. Is it possible to have a nurse (or some type of home health care aide) check in on him at his home? Lynn and Roger
  21. Well, good luck with all that Jeff! Sure is weird watching football on PDT. Yesterday, we had breakfast with the Hawkeyes (9:00 a.m.) and today it's brunch with the NFL. Tonight it's dinner with our Packers at 5:20. Could've used this schedule when I was working. No need to stay up late on a "school night"...LOL! R
  22. Speaking of hurricanes...Jeff, I think that it was nearly a year to the day that we both were ducking to get outta the way of Hurricane Joaquin. I'm sure glad that we're not doing that part of the country again. I can put up with some 90's here in AZ...at least it's a dry heat...LOL! Also, glad to see that none of the Classless are out that way. Linda and Ed, congrats on your granddaughter's wedding...the pics were very nice! R
  23. Sounds like Oregon's coastal version of Fall/Winter? Better keep movin' south. Lookin' forward to hearing your tales from the great NW around a campfire and some "cranberry juice"! Safe travels you two...R
  24. You and Tom with the ice cream...then there's Steve and the ice cream machine. Who knows where he's hid that! R
