  1. We moved to Timber Valley SKP park here in Oregon yesterday in the rain. Suppose to stop the showers today but the sun is peeking through now. 56 degrees going to the upper 60's today. Got to get caught up on laundry and groceries. We plan to stay here a couple of weeks. Lots of green everywhere. :)

    Later,

  2. Hello there friends.

Anyone else having trouble with the new SKP Website? You have to change your password to get in and when it didn't work, I did password recovery. Three times now they sent me a new one. I copy/pasted it and it doesn't work. Not sure what to do now. On my computer, this one, I am okay but on Doug's computer which can pick up the outlaw WiFi from the rig, I cannot sign in.

    Just wondering.

Pouring rain here for a few days. Lots of wind. Parker is doing very poorly. We are losing hope. :(

    Hugs

Ours is messed up too when trying to order mail. It has the names and email address wrong but the person in Livingston says they see it correct. We call in to get mail. So sorry to hear about Parker.

  3. I was sure that I had moved our peg on the class map. Sorry - we have been here a month already.

Anyone heading this way, remember this we are not that far from the border so don't worry too much about the gas prices. Ours are coming down too.

We would love to see you.

We're still i California and headed that way, may be couple of months though. Going to start moving again next Monday up the coast we go. Starting in Pismo Beach. It'll be great to see you guys again. :)

  4. Saw the oncologist yesterday and we don't have to see him again until September. Yippee! That means the surgeon got all of the cancer and we don't have to do any chemo. So happy. We are hoping to leave here June 7, depending on how good Jim is feeling by them. (He'd better feel really good because I want out of here.) Not sure I'll remember how to move my marker or even how to get ready to hook up it's been so long.

Yea that's great news! I'm sure moving your pin and getting hooked up will come back to you real quick, like riding a bicycle. Still thinking of you and Jim.

  5. And that would be why Jim does not go fishing from Friday afternoon until Monday morning.

Surgery was routine. Aren't those wonderful words? Jim is feeling great - because of all those wonderful pain meds he's on. He's in ICU until tomorrow and hopefully I'll get to bring him home on Tuesday. It's my understanding that they got everything so there will be no chemo/radiation. I'm exhausted and will be heading for bed early tonight.

Happy to here good news. We're still thinking of you and Jim.:)

  7. Pretty good news from the doc today. The cancer hasn't spread. And now he's leaning towards surgery again. Need to see another ologist - this time the lung one. The cancer doc is going to call the surgeon after the lung one does his thing. If the lung one says go for surgery, that's what we will do. If not, then it's radiation. Hopefully by next week we'll have a definite plan. But we're feeling pretty happy tonight.

Good to hear the news. You're still in our thoughts and prayers.

  8. Well, woot ... woot. We sold our property and our cabin. New owners signed final papers today and we love cash. However, it happened so fast. Heck, we weren't even sure we were ready to sell but I keep hearing the sound of ocean waves so maybe it's better to think beach :D :D . Who knows what we'll do. They offered only 6K less than we thought we'd list for and that is IF we listed so that wasn't bad. :D :D :D

WOW !!! Congratulations. Glad it went fast and smooth for you guys. B)

  10. Just wanted to let all of you know that Jim and I are going to be in AJ for awhile longer than planned. We found out Jim has lung cancer and is going to need surgery. We don't have a date yet for the surgery but hopefully it will be within the next two weeks. Then we'll find out if he needs any additional chemo or radiation. Several people here in our park aren't leaving until the end of May so we are surrounded by people who will take care of us if we need help. Sure is a good feeling.

I'll let you know when we find out something more.

So sorry to hear this news. Thoughts and prayers for you guys. Keep us all informed.

  11. well we arrived in vegas. staying fora few days. then we start the slow trek back to alaska.

    see you all next year

    mike and deb

Where are you? We are at Sam's Town and our daughter flew in yesterday and is going home Saturday night. How long are you staying? If we don't see you be safe going home.

  12. We're at the Rally along with thousands and thousands of other folks. Haven't seen Jeff and Tina yet - can't imagine why  It's hot and we're parked on pavement which doesn't help at all. Having fun with Jan and Bill, and the rest of the group.

We're at the Rally parked in the gravel (no electric) it is hot. Did seminars today, chiwalking in the morning and the doggie promenade with our two. Been to both shows also. Found my match. :P See ya tomorrow?

  13. Tina - I just sent you a PM. I've done that several times when I was changing other templates. However, don't think that's necessary unless you really want to. Email me.

    Jeri

Thanks Jeri. I just responded to your PM... I fixed it! And yes, it was something simple but overlooked again and again. Thanks all.

  14. Ok your not blind or missed it. Tina went over it with Sandie and it just doesn't want to work. Very frustrating so we are cooling it for a bit before something silly happens. Will keep trying.

Regarding the "missing comment function" on our blog..

Ok. I've finally figured out what's wrong. When I created my blog, I selected a template from the list and went from there. The comments never showed up. Today, I created a new blog using the dynamic template and it does show comments. The problem is that the dynamic template is not an option on our real bog for some strange reason. So, now I'm trying to figure out how to download the dynamic template and then upload it to my blog. Haven't figured that out yet. I could start all over, but then the whole address would change and I really don't want to do that. Any ideas?

    Tina
