Glad you got the over heating fixed but too bad you have to sit and wait now. Coming to New Braunfels?
We got out of Denver in a nick of time. In the 20's at night. Yuck. Today it's 60 degrees, cloudy and windy here in New Braunfels. Suppose to be mid 80's by Wednesday. Sure is green here.
Travel safe. Later.

We have reached our winter destination near New Braunfels, Tx. until it's time to go to Q. Definately need to catch our breath for a while. Spent last Nov. here and thought we'd do it again. We'll see if we can wait until Q without getting hitch itch. Travel Safe. Later.

We're going to visit friends in Albuquerque tonight then on towards New Braunfels, Tx. They are still worker bees so no hurry to get to their house. Took senic route yesterday over La Veta pass (US 160) to Alamosa, Co. then south on US 285 to Santa Fe. Beautiful sunset last night. Think we'll miss the mountains once we settle in Texas but not the cold and snow. Later.

well in the morning we will start the long journey out to the lower 48. 1st stop spokane, then heading east to ny then sc then texas.
snowed here yesterday, so it is time.
will be initiating internet silence starting tommoorrow night, (canadian rates are so stupid , same with phone) same for their fuel cost !
mike and deb and smokey
Come on down!
I know about the fuel costs. The cheapest we paid for gas was in Edmonton at $1.08 a liter. We took a side trip to the Columbia Icefield in the Jeep and had to buy some gas in the park. Only bought about 20 liters at $1.69 a liter. Yikes!
Be safe in your travels. Later.

We probably won't go to the movies, eh. Our plans have changed a little. Tuesday we are going to Chatfield State Park in Littleton instead of Cherry Creek. The following Monday head for Albuquerque. Later.
Tina and Jeff

We just spent the last 4 nights at Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone. Some cellphone service in the park and no internet. In Casper, Wy. tonight probably go to Loveland, Co. tomorrow for a week to visit the youngest daughter. We're ready to get this thing to Texas and park it for a while. Later.

Couldn't use the data on my smart phone in Canada and Internet at the park west of Calgary wasn't the greatest.
Toni, it's your last weekend camp hosting eh? Soon the hitch itch will go away.

Boy we've been without internet since Monday, man did we miss it. I can't use my data on my smart phone up here Canada either. I'm in the gameroom of a small park on the West side of Edmonton trying to get caught up. Going on towards Calgary on Monday. Making the turn and heading south. Probably back in the states (Montana) by the end of the month.
We plan on staying in Texas (near New Braunfels first) then make a roadtrip to Q in January. After Q not sure. Hope everyone is doing well. Later.

We really enjoyed our time with Toni and Doug. We met Doug's brother Dave and his wife Liz at their beautiful home over looking Nicola Lake. The campground is just down the road from their house. The weather was just right. We left this morning and ended up in a Valemount, B.C. rv campground and are eating leftover Chinese from last night. Yuummmy. There is a great view of mountain tops with some snow still up there. Might stay the weekend here. Trying to get used to speed and distance signs here in Eh land along with the money. Plan on staying north of the border the rest of the month. Eh.
Happy Aniversary Freddie and Delcie!

Yesterday must've been get a haircut day cuz I got mine cut too. We went to Anacortes for lunch and a walk around downtown. After we got back to the RV came a knock on the door and it was Joe. We met him for a very good Mexican dinner in Oak Harbor. He and Tina had huge margaritas. Great food and conversation. Thanks again Joe.

We took the ferry yesterday from Port Townsend to Coupeville. The trip was very foggy and spooky. We're at Oak Habor's city park and were lucky to get a spot. National Night Out was at the park last night. Still gray, cloudy and rainy. We're here for a week before going farther north. Got to get moving and go see some stuff. Later.

I agree with Toni and Joe. Don't go through Seattle. Take the ferry from Port Townsend to Whidbey island and head north from there. From where you're at it only makes sense. It would be a lot farther to go around anyway.
Yes, that will be the plan. Need to make reservations and will probably not tow the Jeep. Thanks. Later.

Cool, Chimacum Cafe has good food as well as a couple places in Pt Townsend, Waterside Pizza and Sirens. I'm guessing you will be taking the Ferry from Pt Townsend to Keystone (Coupeville) and then head north off Whidbey Island as you head for Canada. Trust me the Whidbey Island/Anacortes area would be worth a couple of days and you could do a walk on trip with the ferry out through the San Juans to Friday Harbor. All in all a good trip and time well spent enjoying the area. Let me know your schedule and perhaps we can meet up for Lunch or something.
Joe
We're at Evergreen Coho and had to boondock the first night but got a spot yesterday. We'll be here a week. Went to Sirens for lunch (nachos) and walked around a bit. Checking into taking the ferry, would really like to skip the drive through Seattle. A ferry through the San Juans sounds like fun. We'll meet somewhere. Later.

Hey Guys,

Just how far north and where are you planning on moving to? It would be a real shame to miss a trip out through the San Juan Islands while your in the PNW.

Joe
Joe,
We're going to Chimacum/Port Angeles area then on to Canada. Not sure what we will do there. All options are open. Drizzle and 60 degrees here in Silver Lake, Wa. this morning. Later.

We met Jeri and Terry for dinner last night in Longview. It sure was great to see them again and the food was good too. We're moving farther north on Monday. Later.

Friends meeting up with friends. Local "not yet full-timers" Sue and Doug meeting up with Jim and Sandie and now you. Wonderful ain't it. Only thing better would be us joining in the mix. Wish someone, anyone, would come and visit us.
[[[HUGS}}}
Toni we're moving on to Washington near Mt. St. Helens tomorrow for the weekend. Couple of weeks fo sightseeing in Washington then we hope to be in Canada. Slowly going north. Hope we don't have trouble getting the pets across the border. Later.

We're in Tillamook, Or. at the fairgrounds with Escapee Chapter 34. Yesterday started out rainy like Sunday but cleared off and was real nice. Today we're cover by marine layer (fog) again with drizzle.
Think we'll go inland to hopefully see some sunshine for a while after the rally. Going to the cheese factory today. Later.

Actually I've been wondering just who all is going to be in the Yuma\Quartzsite area this year.
We're planning on around mid January making the run to Q and Yuma for a few weeks then back to see springtime in Texas.
Been busy since we got here. A physical last week and getting the toys out of storage. The Kawasaki and racecar were in a storage unit and the racecar trailer had stuff and tools in it. Now the stuff is in the unit, the car is in the trailer and the bike is out to ride. Plan to race at San Antonio Raceway's Halloween race. Taking today off to just have some fun (lunch on the riverwalk maybe). Travel safe. Later.
