Exactly with Carl said! He taught me!

Roger, was that a 2015?
Glad they took care of your landing legs. I would imagine there was no cost to you? Like I said at the Rally, they were taking care of a lot of people.

Just pulled in and got set up back at Hillsdale State Park Lake, south of Olathe, Kansas. Will be here until we leave on the 3rd for the Rally.

What they both said! The only thing I would add is to check those items that you really don't need to be on. Like the hot water heater. Switch from electric to gas. Not using the microwave? Shut the breaker off.
I'm thinking when on a 15 amp plug, or even a 20 amp, you are really "camping" and you should think that way even in our rigs with all the fancy stuff. JMHO.
If you have a gen. system, well then you have more flexibility.

Yes Rocky it is plank flooring and it is supposed to look like tile. It came in 12" X 24" planks and all the edges snap together.
Brad
Pretty cool!

Brad, that is plank flooring? Looks more like tile?
Nice job. Congrats!

We are back down in the Rio Grande Valley for about 3 weeks as we lead a Family Missions Trip into Mexico to do some more work on a home for boys at an orphanage there. Will be heading slowly to Calif. after that.
Yes, it's a little warm down here towards the tip of Texas!

If you have the second fuel filter on your truck (mine is on the driver side) and it was replaced, so many times the rubber gasket on that my still be up in the housing of where the filter is. You need to make sure that when you remove that one, that the gasket comes out also before installing the new one.
No smoke (white or dark) upon startup?

Chad, apparently swapping those floor tiles (if you have the long wood looking ones) is very easy. Taking 6 extra with us tomorrow as we leave Indiana.

Take a look at this setup seen at the HDT National Rally last year. Not sure how long they were, but not to hard to figure how high they can be.
-
Vern, are you talking about this company?
-
Dave,
I agree with you why the liability is the same under LLC and a Corp. But why the different costs in Insurance when quoting for the same thing? But if a Corp. is an "individual" by law, and I am an individual by law, where is the huge discrepancy?
By the way - good talk this morning!

Are you not able to find a winch system that would allow you to load it backwards and then simple drive it off? Maybe everything on the rear of the bike prevents it from being winched that way.

Here is the list in the Resource Guide.

I talked with Chris today from C&C. Real nice lady, but as soon as I mentioned the owner of the truck and trailer is HERO Makers, she said she would not be able to do a commercial policy.
I didn't challenge her on this, but what kind of policy would she write for a LLC? She understood that this rig was not being used for commercial business.
So what say you guys with the LLCs? Limited Liability Corporation vs HERO Makers Corporation! Both being non commercial!!!!!
Expecting to hear from Miller in the next two days. No rush, I told her. I'm on my way to the Rally and will be driving for two days.
We'll see!

From what I understand, Corporate has never contacted any one of us who emails them. Pretty poor business practice. Now I might have missed a posting by someone who might have received something, but my two requests have been ignored.

And at the same time, just use your air horn and see how long it takes to drain your tanks.
When the mgr. comes out just let him know that you heard they are now cleaning windshields and wanted to get his attention! -
We left the scene of the hail storm crime yesterday, and are cruising up US 169 headed for Hillsdale Lake State Park until it's time to go to the Rally. Leaving Coffeyville in the next hour. Not an early start this morning (or yesterday), but only have less than a 3 hour pull today. We had our choice of close to 20 double length pull thru spots last night! I guess nobody is headed south yet!

Welcome aboard cmipilot.
Try and make one of the Rallys sometime and you will be able to get a lot of differing opinions on how to set that truck up, based on what you want to do.
Hope to see you down the road someday.

Today is our 8th day of warranty work at Mobile Suites, we'll be happy to move back into Michigan tomorrow.
It will be interesting talking with you at the Rally and find out all DRV has done for you at the factory.

When you have your facebook page up, just search for RDBE. It come up and this is the link

David
Enjoy the caves while you are there.
It was good to see you a couple of weeks ago.
In 6 weeks your lonely feeling is going to be cured! See you at the Rally.

Thanks Dick. That wasn't fun!

Depending on which air system you are on, get rid of all air everywhere so the lines aren't pressurized. Pump your brakes if need be (as Carl and I found out).
