roy67ss
I am curious about the user satisfaction with the Winegard Carry-out satellite system for Shaw Direct. In particular, how does it work in Yuma? And during rainy days anywhere? I know that the Trav'ler is the system of choice but, the price is quite high compared to the "carry-Out'. Any advice is welcome. Chad Heiser
I have never used the Carryout with Shaw, but I have with Dish and Direct TV (although Direct TV is limited to SD programming only). It works very well with both of them. I have used it in inclement weather with no real noticeable affects. I was very happy with it. The only reason I don't use it anymore is because I now have multiple televisions with multiple dish boxes so I needed an antenna capable of handling this. As a result I switched to a Trav'ler. I sold my Carryout to a buddy and he is now using it in his trailer. 2000 Kenworth T2000 w/ Cummins N14 and autoshift 2017 DRV Mobile Suite 40KSSB4 with factory mods, dealer mods and personal mods - now in the RV graveyard 2022 DRV Full House MX450 with customized floor plan 2018 Polaris RZR Turbo S (fits in the garage) 2016 Smart Car (fits in the garage or gets flat towed behind the DRV when the RZR is in the garage)My First Solar Install ThreadMy Second Solar Install Thread & Photos and Documents Related to the buildMy MX450's solar, battery and inverter system - my biggest system yet! chadheiser.com West Coast HDT Rally Website
