hummingbird
Hi folks, we are on the road in our new to us 2005 Minnie Winnie and we are experiencing a possible failed with the refrigerator. The freezer is working just fine, ice maker making ice and frozen goods are nice and frozen. But the refrigerator compartment doesn't seem to get cold or cold enough. I've been putting bags of ice in to hold us over until we get it figured out. We have been traveling through some of the hottest weather the US is having right now and wondered if that had anything to do with it. We are now in Madison, Wisconsin heading to Virginia for a grandsons wedding. one other question about refrigerators. Is it true that one should not be traveling with the propane on to cool the refrigerator when going from place to place? So much more to know about RVing than we ever expected. Thanks everybody,
tomhuntley
I use a small fan to circulate the air in the refrigerator compartment. When it gets hot outside I turn the control to a colder setting. I have a 2006 Winnebago Outlook.
