    • I'm thinking you probably mean an incinerating toilet, as burning it?
    • Cost of an aerobic system for us will be right at $10k. site dug up and the system uses an air pump at 81 watts per hour. Everyone also says added cost it have pumped out every so many years. anaerobic not allowed and would not work in our clay. We have no interest dealing with compost unit. Now emptying trash in a trash can we can deal with. All I have read on this unit it uses about what a modern fridge uses power wise. Or it can use propane and 12v for controls. Incarcerating units run 2500 to 4000 dollars. Plans are to mostly on solar with electric service for backup. Huntsville is cool with using a drum for gray water. All I have read on these units are positive. Liners man cost. Just two of us so usage not high so that cost should not be bad. Any thoughts from you guys?
    • Let's put this a different way. Has anyone here ever been required to stop in a weigh station with their RV? Have you ever been pulled over for failing to stop in a weigh station? I have driven past several Michigan weigh stations and never stopped nor was I bothered and I sure didn't see any signs like that.  The Cruise America disclaimer is just that, protection from liability. And if you read the entire thing you will find:  'There’s a good chance you’ll be told it’s unnecessary to weigh at any of the other ones, but it’s always best to ask for guidance."
    • I like neat new tech this. Not for everyone but may suit a few RVrs. Worth a look for those interested in innovations but not necessarily to buy. Starts at $629.99. ~850 as I would order. Neat design. Go here to HP's page and watch the 42 second video: https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-envy-move-all-in-one-24-cs0000-238-801t1av-1?jumpid=ma_memorial-day-sale_product-tile_desktops_9_801t1av-1_hp-envy-move-all-in- A touchscreen, battery powered, touchscreen, Quad HD/2560 x 1440 ( https://www.howtogeek.com/773564/what-is-qhd-resolution/,) it has a handle to carry it (weighs about 9 pounds), has flip out kickstand stands, and the keyboard fits in a pocket on the back eliminating the need for a dedicated office space. I would need a snap on hard cover for it to be perfect. I can be a klutz and have hit my watches on door frames, door knobs, and stair banisters. They have warranties with accidental damage reasonably priced. But in my mind will not replace tablets and laptops in the cab of a truck or car, but that's just me. I have two AIO touchscreen quad HD computers, and my main Dell Micro desktop 5080 on a 32" QHD monitor. Of course my Surface devices two Pro 7+ 2736 x 1824, a 13" Surface book i5, and 13" Surface Book 3 i7 both 3000 x 2000, are all above QHD resolution. Lynn's Go2 m3 is FHD 1920 x 1280 as is her 27" AIO Dell touchscreen, and my new toy micro mini Morefine m8s is attached to a 28" FHD MVA display. So resolution is important to me. I am not nor ever have been fond of laptops and had desktops in our RVs while full-time. So this 24" battery operated desktop, with kickstand legs with handle and keyboard pocket goes beyond the short lived Dell attempt many years ago with an 18" portable, that was more tablet than desktop and disappeared.
