Howdy!

We have a grandfathered unlimited data Verizon 3G MiFi 2200. I got our Verizon bill today and they went up from $59.99 to $79.99 a month. When I called them they confirmed the incrise of $20.00 month. The good news is they will now allow us to purchase a new MiFi 4G devise a full price and keep our unlimited data account. So question is which is the best MiFi devise to purchase now?

The AC791L is Verizon's most modern mobile hotspot. It came out a little over a year ago, and if they are true to history - we anticipate a new one coming out soon.

I have been using a Netgear AC791L on the Verizon network for almost a year & been pleased with it. It has antenna connections, however I use it with a Sleek & a WirEng BoatAnt antenna when reception is poor. For the most part, I haven't needed the Sleek amplifier unless I'm away from major roads or towns.

Disregard, Verizon now states even though they raised my monthly bill $20.00 they still refuse to let me purchase a new 4G hotspot without changing me to a new data plan, and lose our unlimited data plan.
