Escapees Mail Service Notice

OFFICE UPDATE:
Our office will be closed again Friday, February 19th, due to inclement weather. We plan to reopen on Monday, February 22nd at 8:00 am CST.

As of Thursday, February 18th, we have not received any mail deliveries since Saturday, February 13th. Polk County Emergency Management services has continued to issue advisory warnings to not travel on the roads due to the unsafe conditions. Due to this our staff has also not been able to safely travel to the office and their safety is extremely important to us.

Please know that we will start processing mail as soon as it is received and it will be our top priority as soon as we resume operations. Unfortunately, we do not know when that will be at this time and the weather predictions are changing daily.

Mailings that were scheduled for Tuesday-Friday will not be sent. If you are on a schedule, your mail will be sent on the next scheduled date. If you are not on a schedule or had a one-time mailing scheduled this week, please call or email to reschedule. If you reach us before the office is reopened, we will process the changes in the order they are received.

We will be expecting higher than normal call volume once our phone lines reopen, so there will be longer than usual wait times.

We appreciate your patience during these difficult times and we are looking forward to sunnier days ahead in Texas.

Our hearts go out to all that have been affected by these winter storms and we hope everyone is staying safe and warm.
