NamMedevac 70 Posted December 5, 2020 Report Share Posted December 5, 2020 According to B of Reclamation the road across Boca Dam and improvement construction on the dam is now finished so access form I-80 is reestablished to the campground. It may be open if no snow. Tahoe and Plumas National Forest will allow access to some closed campgrounds if no snow blockage. I have accessed many of these during winter and early spring with limited snow buildup. Sometimes had to use a shovel. Enjoyed the smorgs. Free camping if entrance gate is not closed and locked.
