pcook35
Hey All, I am in the process of cleaning my MaxxFan exhaust fan in the bathroom and found that is nearly impossible to clean the fan blade without removing it. I purchased the 2016 3160RL brand new so I figure the fan blade has never been removed. I removed the 3/32" allen set screw that appears at the bottom of motor shaft. I have applied a little downward pressure and the fan blade will not budge. I don't want to apply to much downward pressure because I am afraid that I will break the motor support bracket. I am stalled in my cleaning. Please help - thank you in advance.
Ron
I just do part of the cleaning from down below and get up on the roof to clean the rest from up there.
