Cotreker
My truck was purchased out of state like many others. On my Bill of Sale I asked the dealer to put motor home and RV on the details of the sale. This helped in Colorado when I did my registering, I do not think they ever thought it was a HDT ever. On my VIN inspection I did the same thing, I requested the inspector to note that this was a MT (motor home). He did make sure I had at least 4 of the items to pass the test, I have 5 now. 1. Frig 2. Beb 3.Shore Power + I have Inverter 4. Cooking - I have a butane chief burner 5. Port O potty My GVWR is listed at 48,050 this is from my diesel vehicle inspection report. My listing is not on the drivers door anywhere. My certified GVW is 21,540. So my tips are have the seller and VIN inspector write down motor home, seemed to help me.
