My 2000 is about 300 hp with a upgraded transmission valve body for firmer shifts. When the tranny quits there's two places that sell "bulletproof" tranny's at a fairly reasonable price for a truck that will easily go 500k miles.In California, John Woods sell a great, long lasting tranny. BTS [brians truck stop] sells and guarantees a heavy duty tranny...I think he's in Arkansas. Ford sells a heavy duty tranny that does better than stock, also. Stock, expect 160k before failure.
