Jeff and Tina, Sorry to hear about you're loss. The last time we had to put a friend down like that was roughly 8 years ago and I still remember balling like a baby while at the vet like it was yesterday. But we all need to do what's best and I'm sure you did.

LOL!!! Brutal but I get it. We still have some friends that are workin for the weekends so I will wish them luck with the wether I guess. We opted to find a place in a small town that there would be NO reason to bring a family and hide out here until everyone goes home from the more popular areas.

I think it got into the 70's last night. A big change from being in areas at the 7000ft level. But it's a dry heat LOL!!!

We were getting close to heading up into Co. But after reading your entry Jeff I think we will just continue due West. Like yoy we have been in hot weather for a few weeks so moving here to Santa Fe we figured would be a nice break. But moving farther north and getting into snow might be a bit more cool than we want LOL!! Enjoy!!

No rain last night, we got ours this morning. Came through about 7am. Should be dry the rest of he day. Happy to say our window fix worked and no leaks. Sorry about your slide leak. Looks like we will be moving on to Foley Alabama tomorrow. Need to secure a spot first LOL!! Better late than never. I forgot about Easter so the state parks seem full.

Well it was tough. I almost forgot how to do our departure routine LOL!! But figured it out. We made our 300 mile trek and didn't hit one curb and managed to get backed in with very little trouble. I will admit that I almost wanted to just keep going because it felt so good to be on the move again. We don't need any more of those extended stays.

We are free from Lazy Days!! We drove about 300 miles yesterday and are now in Eastpoint Florida until Wed.

Hmmm, well we probably won't make it that fast. We will be about a week and possibly 2 behind. Let us know how things go,,, if you remember the experience anyway LOL!!

If we get to leave Sunday we plan to drive 300 miles to Eastpoint (by Carrabella) and spend a couple nights and then move to Santa Rosa. With a little luck we will be on your heels and catch you by the time you hit New Orleans.

It's better that you refer to it as a truck than starting to call it a CAR. Calling a Jeep a car can get ya hung in some parts LOL!!
