I just carry a spare hose and replace when the main one breaks. I have had RhinoFlex hoses last 6 months and others last multiple years. I actually have more than one spare sewer hose, since I have had to run up to about 40' for a sewer connection. I also carry lots of fresh water hose and electric cord.

The tech that replaced our cooling unit did it in the RV and it was a 12 cuft unit. He did pull it out, but it was inside on cardboard he put on the floor.

The residential fridge also has to fit the hole reasonably well. That might make it more difficult and more expensive. Each case is unique.
Replacement cooling units come in three versions: 1) new from Dometic; 2) refurbished Dometic; 3) Amish made replacement. We know people who love their Amish cooling units and others will not buy anything except a new Dometic one.

Ugh! How awful with New Mexico. I would think if you needed to come in and have the VIN inspected that there would be someplace to park or a drive thru. Maybe it's a way for the state to get extra money.
I just read that Verizon has purchased all of Millenicom's accounts. The account is supposed to stay intact but an email will be sent informing customers of new plan options. Some folks have received these emails already and others haven't. Has anyone heard anything?
http://www.rvnetwork.com/index.php?showtopic=113652 will tell you all that is known, plus lots of speculation, angst, etc.

Where did you get Avast from? I suspect it was not an approved location or an approved location was compromised. http://www.avast.com/index is the approved location.

Hi Bill, I guess we were class-less for 1 month before you, June 2003. We`ve been off the road for almost 4 years but hope to be back to full-timing by Feb. 1, 2014. See you on the road.
We think of you every time we pass the roadside rest east of Astoria.

90s this week here in Kennewick, WA (Tri-Cities), Looking at the Puget Sound area forecast (Olympia), it is supposed to be in the mid-80s and into the 90s the next few days west of the Cascades.

The mosquito bite look is probably because you squeezed the tick and it let loose whatever it could into the wound. That is why you have to use tweezers as close to the skin as possible. Keep the spot clean and use some kind of bacteria cream on it to control infections. Hopefully the tick head did not come off, that takes longer for the body to get rid of, much like a sliver.
I have pulled ticks from dogs using my bare fingers since I did not know any better, and the dogs were fine. I haven't, yet, pulled one off a person.

Bill - we welcome you "oldies" also. You fit right in to the class-less.
We have no shortage of people we hang around with. Mostly the Boomers, but we definitely hang out with members of the various Classes and just had dinner with some 2006'ers we know well.

Since there was no "Class of 2003" we have always felt Class-less.

nana25k: I think La Mesa has a policy to not sell used RVs more than 10 years old. They will take such an RV in trade-in, but they pass it on to another reseller to sell.
