  1. MacDaddy: You say you work for Volvo. You don't happen to be in Greensboro, NC do you?
  2. Scott/Barb: Bet Mutley was glad to see the boat. We pulled into a new park in Morro Bay, CA this afternoon. Real nice view of the north side of the rock. We're the onlyliest ones here and it sure is quiet. Plan on being here till 3/15 or maybe the 22nd. Will see how it plays out.
  3. Chuck: Sorry to hear you are lonely in MT but. We are leaving Las Vegas 3/8 for San Luis Obispo, Vacaville and Chowchilla/Fresno area of CA for about 3/4 weeks. Be back in LV on 4/5-4/19.
  4. Pulled into Oasis in Las Vegas this afternoon Pretty busy place right now. Be here for two weeks.
  5. Had a great dinner with Bob/Diana and Henry/Cindy at Blue Water Casino in Parker, AZ Sunday evening. Carry a lot of dunnage if you are going to use the parking lot of the casino for overnite boondocking.
  6. Dan: Great thought on the "lurkers" posting. It will be a few more days before I land for a couple of weeks so my reading and postings will be hit and miss. This is a fine time to remind and inform all interested of the 2006 National HDT rally in Wichita, KS, Oct 1-7. I will be posting all the info around March 15 as I still have a few things to put together. This rally is put on for anyone interested in what makes the Class 8 work so well for towing large RV trailers. Primary emphasis is on SAFETY. Keep your calendars open for October 1-7 in Wichita, KS.
  7. Pulling out of Huachuca City, AZ 2/17 with plans to arrive in Las Vegas at Oasis on 2/22 or so the reservations says. Figure 5 days for about 700 miles isnt rushing it too much. Making a stop in Gila Bend, Quartsite and Parker enroute.
  8. Trapshooter ( Dave and Bev Mowry) pulled into Huachuca City, AZ and parked next to us this afternoon. As they are without computer access I figured I'd let everyone know where they were.
  9. Great pictures Padriac. Thanks for posting them for all to see.
  10. Dave: We are scheduled into Oasis on 4/5 thru 4/19 06. Looks like you may be in Las Vegas at the same time. Get together and have lunch again if we can swing it. Also: While in Bakersfield, if you need a park to get into, contact Country RV Park on Highway 58 at Fairfax exit. Real good in/out with phone hookups if you need them. I will have a direcway system if you are still interested.
  11. Jon: The 3 wheel cart crash was not related to Smoke's chair problem. Stupid little dog wanted to go north and not east and took out the motorized chair in the process. Understand we have a few others coming in in the next day or two. Sounds like a mini-rally to me
  12. Pulled into Ft. Huachuca about 4PM today. Long haul from Las Vegas. Wont do that again in less then three days. Sure was a lot of fifth wheels with converted tractors heading west on I-10 around Casa Grande ths afternoon. Who was going where???
  13. Jack: don't think we will make Congress as we are planning on going down thru Q and pick up 10 west to the Phoenix bypass then down to 8 and pick up 10 and fuel at Eloy. Take a rain check on the coffee tho.
  14. Smokey/Pam: We will be leaving Las Vegas on 11/27 and be back in Sierra Vista on 11/28. Will find you probably on Tuesday 11/29.
  15. Leaving Sierra Vista, AZ Saturday 11/12 for Las Vegas and will be at Oasis from 11/13 - 11/27.
  16. OK Jack: I see you are on line now. AS soon as Valerie returns from Sierra Vista, we will take a ride over.
  17. Bob/Sharon: After you go thru Wilcox, AZ, give us a call and you can pull off at Gas City at exit 302, park in the hugh parking lot at the Gas city station and I'll buy you a cup of coffee. We are 20 miles from Gas City and only takes a few minutes to get there.
  18. Jack: Are you guys still going to make the Caverns on 11/1 ??
  19. Jack: When you are at the Caverns, There is a Shell station on the corner of 82. Go east from the Shell station about 1/2 mile on your right. K & N RV park. Site 12 right in the middle.
  20. At the rally in Wichita, it was mentioned at one point that we who travel quite a bit, let others know where we are hiding. Might be a good way for those who are traversing an area to stop and find out information or even get some assistance if needed. Starting 10/16/05 we will be in Sierra Vista, AZ for a month or so then move around for a bit.
