Left the San Joaquin Valley fog this morning and figured I'd hit the coast and it would be clear. Wrong again. Be in Morro Bay, CA till 11/24. Hope it don't snow this year. I don't have much luck with weather.

In Chowchilla, CA at the fairgrounds for 3 days. Quiet little place with full W/E (30 amp) and sewer. On the antennea cause I'm too lazy to set the the satellite.

Larry/Billie: Sorry to hear that you are done traveling for the next few months but THANKS for providing the hospitality over the last few times we have been there. Say "HI" to Mary out at Hi Plains for us.

Left Las Vegas this AM and pulled into "A Country RV park" in Bakersfield. Will be here for a week, possibly longer while the step-daughter has surgery.

Pulled into Oasis in Las Vegas this afternoon and was amazed at the new entrance to the place. Really quite well done. Be here till 11/5 when we head for CA for a couple of weeks then back to Oasis or Sierra Vista, AZ. Plans are cast in jello for the next few months.

In Gallup, New Mexico this evening using their free wifi, dinna have to set up a dish. Headed for Kingman, AZ on 10/24 and will be in Las Vegas at Oasis on 10/25. Kinda had to make the rule of 2's into 3's trying to get ahead of the snow and 19 degree weather in Oakley, Kansas. Left Larry and Billie there to handle the cold stuff.

Back in Rapid City at Hart Ranch till 10/21 then south for warmer climes. Took 3 days for the 715 miles from Wichita. Guess that takes care of the 200 mile a day thingy. Beautiful day up here, mid 70's right now but expecting a cold front thru in a couple of days.

Misfit: when you hit Rapid City, let me know a couple days ahead of time and we can spill a cup of coffee together. Currently at Ft. Hays, www.mountrushmoretours.com about a mile south of the 16 truck bypass.

Bob/Diana: If you get to Rapid City area, give me a call. We could get together and have lunch or dinner. There is a little campground called "TeePee" campground right next to Ft. Hays on Highway 16 which could handle you, only thing is they only have 30 amp power.

Pulled into Rapid City this morning to begin the summer workamping gig at Ft. Hays. If you get in the neighborhood, look us up. Trailer and truck with assorted satellite dishes will be out front. Diesel in Rapid City at Flying J this AM was $2.96

Mike: Where is your sense of adventure? Seen the weather for the hills yesterday and decided to hang out in SLC till Saturday when it is supposed to be in the high 60's up there.

In Salt Lake City at KOA for a couple of days b4 heading north or east. Had a real nice day today with no rain but lo and behold, it is supposed to rain for the next 3 days.

Leaving Oasis Las Vegas Wednesday AM for points north in Utah. Figure 3-4 days to Kaysville, UT to have some warranty work on the trailer and plan on being in Rapid City, May 1. If we get there a few days early, will hang out at Hart Ranch. I will be posting on the National Rally as soon as we get set up in the north country. Be patient for a few more days.

Drying out at Oasis in Las Vegas, space 749, after spending 25 wet and miserable days in CA. Be here till 4/19 then head north.

Moved down to Chowchilla, CA at the fairgrounds till 4/3 when we will head back to Las Vegas. Have been in the rain ever since we got into CA and it has been flat miserable. Now the weather looks like it is finally going to clear up next week.

Chuck: as the schedule stands right now, we are due in Rapid City on May 1. Of course, weather changes all. Plan on a stop in Salt Lake City to rattle Blake's cage and see if he is still kicking.

Bob/Sharon: We will be leaving Fairfield on the 29th and be in Chowchilla at the fairgrounds for 4-5 days as we are due back into Las Vegas on 4/5/06 till the 19th.

Hanging out in Fairfield, CA till 3/29. Gonna try to see a few folks in the area while we are here.

David: I've had a couple of private e-mails with Mac and I'm bound and determined to get Volvo to send a rep to the rally (s). May not make it this year either but it wont be for the lack of trying.
