To be clear it goes into bathroom trash lined with a bag and for some with a lid on it. NOT kitchen garbage.   At one point as a kid one of  my jobs in the morning was to empty the slop jar.  Sometimes called a goazunder in Austrailia I was told. (as in goes under the bed- until needed)  If you don't know what I mean ask someone old that lived in the deep country with no running water or indoor plumbing.   Another of my jobs was to provide running water as in running out with a bucket and running back in.

We ran water and filled the bucket from the outdoor pump at our hunting camp but we had a outhouse. We cut wood for the  stove.

  2. We use primarily FJ when on the road .They are most everywhere  easy on easy off plenty of parking and not a bad restaurant. Just filled  up diesel  locally 2.795 and 8 cents off with the RV plus card was 195.9. We have seen it over 5.00 per gallon a few years ago.

  3. We have been RVers for many ,many years this 3402 is our 6th Rv and 2nd 5th wheel. The first 4 were bumper pulls and we did weekends and maybe a one week vacation. When we both  retired our goal was to see the USA and winter in a warm place. We have been doing that since 2006.

  4. Quartzsite is a long haul for us being from Northern ,Ohio. We have however been to Quartzsite twice as we happened to be traveling in the area. We  prefer to get our meds and medical , dental work done in the USA. We are not fans of boondocking such as it is in "Q" or camping in the dessert .It is however a experience and should  be on the RVers bucket list

I'm sorry, but that just looks like your everyday click bait to me. It's just a survey, so I don't see any kind of rational analysis involved. Are the respondents just saying they like their preferred country's health care because it's free? Or, what parameters are they basing their preferences on? I'm not sure and I can't tell. I'm certainly not clicking through to find out. Hmm.. Jay

Ignore it and do whatever you choose to do.

  6. The U.S. spends more on health care as a share of the economy — nearly twice as much as the average OECD country — yet has the lowest life expectancy and highest suicide rates among the 11 nations. The U.S. has the highest chronic disease burden and an obesity rate that is two times higher than the OECD average.Jan 30, 2020.

  7. Our Medicare  premium  is 2942  for the both of us. The BC/BS which was a Federal Government  plan since we both were Federal employees  was 6080 total .  That =  9022 .Medicare did pick up 80 % of the bill. The  out of pocket was for additional cost we choose to incur like private room , TV, Phone and special diet.

This is a edit   We had to go back and check numbers. We made a mistake on our Medicare premium.

We usually do not have to  pay anything between our  BC/BS and Medicare  BTW our BC/BS plan is 253.00 per month per person for those who may have been federal employees that is code 104 self only was less than self and family. The additional cost was personal choice

  8. We were very fortunate to be able to carry over a very good BC/BS plan provided by our employer .Helen and I worked for the same employer, It still cost us  with Medicare over 9K a year for coverage but many pay much more than that. Few years ago Helen had  non life threating surgery that from start to finish had a bill of over 65 K.I think it cost us around 3K out of pocket. We would have been done in had we had to pay that entire bill.

  9. We carry a couple of surgical masks in the car and truck and one is in my pocket at all times. We are not a medical  person so we will pay attention to reliable  medical community and not Facebook experts or politicians. The mask is very uncomfortable and I have trouble breathing through it in a short time. I wear it were it is mandated.
