  1. It is an interesting topic. I didn't answer the poll because I am not full time. We don't plan to go full time. The wife is retired but I have a few more years. We plan on keeping our place for sure as we plan to be there more than we will be on the road. I think I would always like a home base, however, if we did go full time I could see the advantages to selling it. Keep in mind that unless you have a big nest egg it could be tough to buy something later on if you change your mind.
  2. I use a Y however I have it is after the water filter. The water filter with it's flexible hose is connected to the parks water, then the pressure regulator and then the Y. Just last week I replaced my regulator with one I bought new 3 years ago. I noticed on the package it said "Lead Free" but on the back warning label it said it may contain lead. 🙃 My Y is brass.
  3. I have been using it for 3+ years. One long trip a year and a few short ones. We love it. I set the amount of hours I want to travel (6) and set the average speed to 50mph. I also choose non interstate. Then I see what town falls around the 6 hour mark and look for a place to stay...Usually I look at Harvest Host and find one in that area. With the setting I choose I like the fact that we usually arrive earlier than predicted (opposite of what Google maps would predict) We use the website for planning, the app on the phone when driving....The app sometimes use to glitch out, but not lately.
  4. Stumbled upon this thread. Very true that facebook is not as good as forums. Times a changing. This is my first post here. Maybe I will go look for an introduction section.
