  5. They were headed from oregon to fallon, then to vegas and then on to tuscon. however, by the looks of it, they were way off course.
  6. the other day the stereo stopped working, it took me half a day to find the fuse as the fuse panel by the drivers left foot was not the right spot. The owners manual showed it in there, i tested them all and never found it. then i found it in a separate box under the hood. however, in searching for live wires, i accidentally arced out the cigarette lighter and 12v power with my test light. now I cannot find the fuse for that! I checked the fuse panel by the driver (i literally removed each one at a time) and i checked under the hood, and they are all good. The owners manual doesnt even show the power box under the hood. where in the world is the fuse for this?

what are you asking for? you want more or you have more info?
  10. I have a 2007 four winds hurricane, it has a go power panel and controller installed, I gave the parts guy at camping world the model number and all info off of it, he recommended an expansion kit. So I bought it, but I don’t have the Mc connectors on the roof, they are just basic rubber coated plugs. So the expansion kit isn’t plug and plug. My question is, can I just buy mc connectors and put them on my original panel wires? I don’t see any reason why I couldn’t. But, if I do, is there different sizes connectors or are they universal? I see the connectors for sale on homedepot.com and Amazon but i right see a size.
  11. When I bought my mh there were some corner pieces of the trim cap on the main slide missing. Is there a place to buy them or do I get out the wood working tools and make my own on the router?
  12. Very fair point. I’m now in the market for a crv
  13. Currently that is number 1 on my list! Lower Lehman seems to be my fav. Have a 18 month old and 1 month old so boondocking for a week might be rough but we will see!
  14. When i had my toy hauler I used a brass water regulator for city water connection, i used it with my 1999 class A also, but my new class A has a different fill valve, its a box and I believe its called quick fill, it has a hand on it to switch from fresh water tank to city water, do i need a regulator on it when on city water?
  15. The CR-V would be perfect as we are trying to put 2 kids in car seats in it. im still concerned about the long steep grades, maybe a banks would be the way to go on mine too. one grade I pull every year is coming north out of mono county, switchbacks and big elevation climb. its hard on any vehicle, just hope i make it to the top!
  16. I am in Minden NV, about an hour south of Reno and 6 hours north of vegas. I dont care about fuel prices, it is what it is. I haven't looked at bryce Canyon, thank you!
  17. Last year my family did a week long trip to fort bragg, we had a blast. this year we want to do another week long trip but we cant figure out where to! we live in nevada and want to keep it around the 8 hour mark as traveling with 2 kids under 2 can be rough. full hookups is nice, but boondocking is always an option. anyone have a great destination to recommend? just to relax, enjoy the area, scenery and such. no tow behind so not really mobile once we arrive.
  18. I had a 1999 class A that was gutless, i upgraded to a 2007, still with a v-10 but more HP. Where I live and camp, its all hills, steep hills. what is a suitable tow behind vehicle that can seat 2 adults and 2 car seats. I need to make it up these hills still!
