  1. I would venture a guess that the spring be pre-tensioned with the slide retracted.

    This would allow the topper to be under tension when the slide is retracted. This would prevent the topper from "ballooning" while traveling.

  2. I replaced all of the Air Springs on my Gen-1 last week. The replacement springs came with brackets attached some of which were removed due to the bolts on the frame would not turn loose.

  3. The Driver Information display on my Gen 1 Volvo went blank. I checked the fuse listing and it said F-12 was for DID. When I looked at my fuse bank F-12 was empty. I put a 5 amp fuse in the empty slot and nothing still on the display.

    Does anyone have a suggestion on where to start TS?

  4. I would start with a trip to the local Pete dealer and purchase 4 new matching batteriies

    Most times one of the Class 8 dealers will have a battery on special which will beat the Sam's Club or Costco on price.

  5. I have 3 RKI boxes.  Two underbed and one cross bed from my peecup.

    RKI has a good name in the oil patch.

  6. I can remember assembling a Glider when I was a truck  mechanic in 1959 in an IH Factory Branch shop.It was  B-1800 chassis in which we installed a 549 cu.in. V8. The largest engine available from the factory was 345 cu.in..
