You called a month ago and just now got your letter?  What were your receivers?  That worries me - did you get an email about it all before the letter?  I’m going to be between addresses off and on, and really want to figure it out sooner.

I’m guessing they won’t want my old receiver back (at least 10 years old, I think).

Had 2 dvr, 2 of the genies and 1 non dvr receiver so 5 units all together...when we called they said just take to Fed ex which we did which was several weeks ago, dont know why they now sent the letter. Also not sure where they went from fed ex but from the sounds of their website seems likely they sent it to recycle center..... and that they will send you a return box for anything they want back....some of my stuff was pretty old so it would make sense....

  2. So in today mail I received a letter from DTV stating they have received my cancelation request and not to worry about returning the equipment, but requesting that I recycle it.  requests to take equipment to a 100% green compliant re-cycle center or visit www.directv.com/recycle for step by step instructions.

Also gives a QR code to scan if I want to keep my Direct TV service and the 800.550.7580 number to call to learn more

  3. We got dtv for our s&b in 1996, first thing that was installed on our new home.

Just canceled last month.  I called,  went through the phone system , spoke to 2 humans with the last giving a final offer of 69.00a month if we stayed. No thanks.

At the end we were told to take all the equipment, power supplies,  remotes that are listed on our account number to either ups or FedEx .

They record all the serial numbers, tag it with your dtv account number,  and give you a receipt.  Bye bye dtv.

We took photos of everything we took to FedEx.  On the final payment memo to dtv indicated cancel service, final payment equipment returned.

    How Does It Work?

At first we are tempted to say very ‘well’. But this may not be the answer you are looking for!

Autoformers are used in industries to stabilize voltage and lower the operating cost of equipment. The Autoformer has 5 windings: 2 primary and 3 secondary. All models have surge and spike protection. When the unit is in Automatic and the park or input voltage is 116 volts or below, the output is 10% over the input. When the input is over 118 volts, the output is 2% over the input.

The Autoformer DOES NOT take power from the park.

It does not affect the park or input voltage, or make electricity.

What it is doing is changing the voltage – amperage relationship, lowering the amperage and raising the voltage. Since appliances run better on higher voltage, lower amperage, less overall power is used from the park, and better service is enjoyed from your RV

An Autoformer running at full output (50amps) will use 1 amp, but will cause appliances to cycle more often and run cooler. This will use less total power from the park.

Enjoy Your Autoformer Knowing You Are Doing Your Part For The Environment.

  6.  Chad, thank you very much for the detailed response.

I hadn’t thought about that consequence of smoke letting which is never a good thing with electronics.💥

2 panels in series would be about 163 volts and amps would remain at 6.57-- parallel 6 strings and voltage remains same and amps become 39.42 at the MPPT.

The Recommended Charge (Absorption) Voltage for the pack is 57.6 volts - Is there a way to calculate the additional the MPPT will create with the additional 105.4 volts above absorption that the panels can provide?

Perhaps there’s a better, more efficient panel, controller pairing that works better with my available space and I will  check out the Victron site and calculator.

    Thank you

  7. Trying to figure out what the best configuration of charge controllers and string configurations, any input is appreciated.. . Lithium 48 volt battery bank, 400AH, 20.5 KWH to be charged, so wanting a high efficient rapid charge rate., recommend is 0-63 AMP,  max continuous is 100AH per pack,

Space will allow 12 panels to be installed, looking at the 144 cut cell technology in the 425 watt range , each panel has a VOC of 81.4  , but SCC is 6.57A.

3 panels in series puts 246 volts to a single MPPT Victron Charge 250/100 controller. Does it generate 100 amps when it sees 250 volts, regardless of SCC? IHow many more amps than the 6.57 per string would the MPPT create at 250 volts?  Better to parallel the 3 panel strings onto  a single 250/100? Or use some other configuration ?

Thanks for any feedback regrading the configuration.

I suppose that could be the case but aspirin, Aleve, Tylenol, and others like this I use at times for relief of these aching bones and I dont find that they ALTER my mind.  But then again, Oxys and others I am not familiar with are also used for pain relief at times and can ALTER my mind.  It is a matter of being responsible and making a choice given your own personal circustances.

I do understand that some pain relief is available in CBD without THC and I have not been in situations that this course of treatment would be a personal consideration for me.  Although, not opposed, it is as well a personal decision and I personally would consider its MIND ALTERING capability as part of my decision.

There certainly are many options for each of us and we have to make our choices based on our own circumstances.

Don't the pain relievers drug you use alter your perception as to intensity of the pain?  They alter your heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rates, relax muscles, and slow reaction times. Your conscious mind may not be entuned to these changes but they still happen. They can make you drowsy, at least I know they do this to me, and take too much and they can stop your heart and kill you.

Perhaps the mind altering effect you refer too is the stereotypical "high" that of being in a eutrophic state, or uninhibited state, clouding ones judgement or inducing a psychosis or hallucinatory state of mind? These are certainly effects that can happen depending on ones intent, the amount of the drug, ones body chemistry and so forth.

I disagree with your original statement that any use should disqualify one from sharing the road, but I do agree that it is a personal decision and that ANY DRUG should be used responsibly , the person should know how any drug will effect them and exercise caution .

Technically you're right. I stand corrected. But the steps are the same, only the terms are changed.

Agree. The Doctor writes the orders, and then they are dispensed .

    Total Amount Ordered: 14000 milligrams
    Mg Per Day: 200
    Purchase Device: Yes
Note: This is a recommendation, not a prescription. There is no scientific data regarding specific dosing. We are only providing you with a maximum dose per day. Start low and slowly increase your dose to avoid adverse reactions.

as a commercial truck driver my life is on the line every time i get on the road. ANY person who uses any drug, legal or not.

should go to jail if they are behind the wheel of any motor vehicle.

We ALL put our lives on the line every time we get on the road. Fortunately we don't live in a totalitarian society, rather that we have enacted laws that set limits, based on science, as to what constitutes a legal impairment. We all bear a responsibility to society to adhere to these laws and conduct ourselves within them.

My perspective is less about drugs and more about MIND ALTERING SUBSTANCES.  If you can be impaired, then the responsible thing to do is to avoid using them when operating any vehicle, esp if on the roads with others.  But if you need to use them for some condition, then dont share the road with the other folks out there.  Thank you

Don't all drugs alter the mind in some type or fashion?  Cant' all drugs cause an impairments when used improperly?  Including OTC ones, and some can cause impairments just by their nature such as narcotics. It depends on a lot of things, including the Individuals body chemistry, as to when one becomes "Impaired" . Just because a drug is needed to treat a condition should not mandate a zero tolerance policy that excludes one from using the road.

I have never been inside of a pot store, and I don't believe that I have seen one but can't say for sure.

I cant speak for other states, but in Florida the stores have a lobby area  where you enter and must present your state issued medical marijuana ID card. They then check the state database to see that your prescriptions are current. If your not in compliance you are not allowed access into the facility.  If all checks out, an associate will take you into the secured area and work one on one with you to fulfill your orders.

Most dispensaries offer delivery services, you go online, do the verification process, pick your products and a driver brings them to you.

Either way it is a cash only transaction
