Once you get to Lazy Days you will be able to hang around the rest of the season for free...... LOL FREE!!!!
Hey Roger, Heck that sounds like a good deal, however I need to be back in the PNW early next month. Oh and Sharon says I'm not going to look at Motor Homes either. LOL
Joe

Hey Jeff, an what is wrong with his highness Peyton?
Joe
-
I know why our weather in Florida has changed. Joe came down from the PNW. LOL. I have 4 weather advisories on my phone this morning. Wind, coastal flooding, high surf and rip current advisories. The wind is suppose to blow 15 -25 with gusts to 35 mph for the next 5 days. The slide toppers sound like thunder and it doesn't let up at night either. Temps are climbing toward 80 degrees again. It doesn't cool off much at night. No chance of freezing temps which is a good thing.
Peyton who?
Travel safe everyone.
Jeff
I was just going to tell you how much I enjoyed the wind over on that side the last couple of days. :-) That said, just a nice gentle breeze over here on the "Bananna Belt" site side. LOL
Only thing I'm wondering about though is if I should go to Lazy Days and buy me a Beaver. LOL

I believe we ate a Sirens at your recommendation, sat on the deck over looking the harbor. Port Townsend is a cool town. Y'all have fun.
Jeff
Thanks Jeff, we will have fun. However there will be NO sitting on the deck today, it's RAINING. So guess we will just sit inside next to the big ole Wood Stove and talk about everybody.

Steve, have you tried the Chimacum Cafe? It was real good and large portions. We were there 3 years ago. Very pretty up there.
Travel safe everyone.
Jeff
Hey Jeff, glad you enjoyed the Chimacum Cafe. One of my favorite stops when I'm in the area. I already recommended it to Steve and Carol. Current plans are to meet them for lunch today in Pt Townsend and go to Sirens, a local watering hole that has good Pub Grub. Another great place to eat in Pt Townsend is "The Fountain" in the Drug Store.

Then we had a nice dinner with Joe & Sharon (she's way to good for you Joe), and spent a couple of hours catching up with them.
OUCH, but I know what you mean. Just keep it quiet please, wouldn't want her to find that out.

Naah, Joe, as soon as the kitchen came out with the knife, she decided her knee was in "great shape"!
Like I said, it's all taken care of.
Joe
-
That looks wonderful. ..hey does Carol want to have her other knee done?
Done, right after Steve finished that Marguerita he borrowed a knife from the kitchen and took care of it for her.
Jeff, guess Tina now knows they still serve them things here in the PNW. When you bringing her back for a re fill?
Joe
-
Well I have been known to drink the baaaad whiskey but doubt I could drink enough to agree to believe their medical certificates are real. Now Paul and Sue's Margaritas might do the trick!
Well let's see if we can "entice" you with a lil ole Marguerita then.
Joe
-
Jerry, THANKS. I knew them 2 had been up to something. As for hiding the Baaaaaaaaaad Whiskey, I think it's to late.

Steve and Carol just left here, headed back to Bessie Bus for the night. I think they got filled up pretty good at the Mexican Restaurant we went to. Talked about a whole lot of things and just had a great time all around. Next time we get together we will talk about all of you folks. As for anesthetic, I think Steve is set. Give him about a bottle and a half and he'll be ready to replace that knee in record time, heck he might just do it so good you won't more than a couple days to recuperate.
Joe

Hey Jeri, have you and Janice been doing your RAIN DANCE again. Seaside, OR looks almost like Mexico Beach did a few years ago.
Joe
-
Well I think J & J along with J & T teamed up to send their rain from Florida to Oregon last night. Dang wind is howling here and the rain is coming down sideways. Oh well, the Maritime Museum in Astoria will be dry and warm today. And the food will be good at the Rogue Ale Brew Pub also.

We won't make it to Q this year. Actually won't make it out of the PNW with the MH this year. Will Be in Tampa for Thanksgiving though.
Right now we are in Seaside, OR at the Thousand Trails till Sunday. So if anyone happens to be in the area, give a shout. Heading down to Tillamook for some Cheese and Ice Cream today. Then more local exploring the rest of the week.

It was great visiting with Paul and Marsha again. Been a long time but we made up for lost time by talking about everyone not here. As usual IYQ and his cowgirls was a major part of the conversation. Being close to Mexico Beach lead to discussions about Joe. For some reason, Jeri and Terry would not stop at Mexico Beach as we drove by in the rain today. Not sure why. haha
Linda's explanation of how the map was originated and to be used was excellent.
CHICKEN. Sun was out most of the day where I'm at.

great shot of Joe!
YUCK to the water!!
Looks like there is a bunch of us meeting up in Idaho as well.
Boy do I have hitch itch!
Yep, only thing missing is my FOOT in the mouth.
Idaho, isn't it getting to be a bit late in the year for a meeting up there?
Joe

Yes and you're still talking to us and planning to get together again ... in Florida. However, this time it'll be farther south and around Thanksgiving time. Look at the memories we made and how many times you've been able to tell that story and show that picture!
Yep, it was a good time and your right I am still talking to you. And yes we're planning on meeting up with you again in FLORIDA this year. And the times I've been able to tell that story............................! And that's not even the best picture either.

That looks pretty deep Joe! I'm sure it's at least that high now from where we left. Very grateful to have dodged that bullet. Calling for sunshine here today and going to the local Rock Shrimp Fest with "the Cox Kids"...life is good!
Deep it was, almost Belly deep on my Springer Spaniel. The whole campground was that way, with some high spots under the RV's. However there were a few SKP's around to help keep the mood elevated with "Cranberry Juice", etc. If I remember right, Jim and Sandie, Lynda Sand, Jeri and Teri, and another couple from Texas who's names escape me right now. That was the Winter from HE!! as far as weather went. Later in Yuma I sat through a little rain storm that dumped 2 inches of rain in less than 24 hours and flooded the Park I was in. But it all started with meeting Jeri and Terry in FLORIDA.

Glad we left this a.m. cuz I was standing in water past my ankles when I unplugged my electric. A bit unnerving!
Gonna toast our good fortune with Tina & Jeff shortly!
Just need to let you guys know about how things were the last time Jeri went to Florida for the winter.
Joe

January? Hmm. I don't know much about the Tampa RV show. We really don't have a lot of plans yet. I'm guessing eventually we'll have to get down to that and figuring out where everyone else is going to be. Other than being around the Pensacola area sometime in very late October or November, we may just wing it. However, we are interested in Bonita Springs, Sanibel Island and Key West and the rest of Florida. Where you gonna be?
Sounds like there will be a few of us in Florida at some point this winter. I'll be in the Tampa area just before Thanksgiving, but will only be there 9 days. Then it's back to the PNW for me. Should any of you be in that area we can plan a Meet and Eat.
Joe
-
Well now I'm thinking that good ole boy Steve has had things a bit scrambled up what with all that wind and stuff. I know I have been seeing "Bessie Bus" parked in the RV Park right here in Oak Harbor for the last several days. Hmmmmm maybe them tornado's just re-located the Buss.

I hear ya Joe. The air quality was pretty bad when we were there. Bothered us both...gonna avoid central CA from now on!
Roger
No kidding, only reason I even attempt to visit Central CA is family. And I grew up 45 miles north of Bakersfield. Believe me, the air was not bad back then. Of course we traveled in covered wagons then.
Joe
-
We're driving 100 miles tomorrow. Should we make that in one day or try for two?
I'm with Roger on this one, actually think you should take it easier on yourself and split that into 3 days travel time.
