  1. Linda, sorry to hear your having all these troubles. You and Dave travel safe heading back home. To all, MERRY CHRISTMAS Joe
  2. Well it's really just a lil reminder that Mother Nature has a sense of humor. Only thing I did yesterday was sweep the SNOW off the deck and go play in the HEATED shop for a bit. And learn that the refer in my MH is truly DEAD. On that front I'll find out Monday what the $$$$ will be. As for the San Fran Cisco weather............................Actually I just read an email from another friend that's down that way visiting, only she was rubbing it in how nice the weather is there. Joe
  3. HAHAHAHAHAHA just gave me another excuse to goof off for the day. Heck I'm still sittin around in my bathrobe drinkin coffee and doing nothing. Well except for messin around with an old camera. Joe
  4. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Just so there ain't no "weather whining" from you all down there in the south land, this is what it looks like at Spiker's RV Resort on Whidbey Island, WA right now. Joe
  5. Today was moving day once again. All the way from Salem, OR to Woodland, WA. WOW a whole 90 miles. Then I get here and get set up, ready to watch the Seahawks dismantle the Giants and Direct TV still has my service screwed up. So Jeri and I met up for lunch. Boy you'lls ears should have been burnin cause we talked about the whole darn bunch of you. Joe
  6. I bet you do, although I'm sorry to hear the circumstances that made it necessary. I'll text you Sunday when I get there. Travel Safe Joe
  7. Made the drive to Sutherlinn today. Road was basically dry through the Siskyou's. but was a wet mess in southern Oregon. Both the truck and RV need a bath now. Oh well, just a short jaunt tomorrow. Joe
  8. Yes, been keeping an eye on road conditions. From the heavy truck traffic all night last night, there must not be any problems up through the Siskyou's. Figure Sutherlinn today, Salem tomorrow, then Woodland, and Columbia River RV Resort, on Sunday. Then Monday I should at least make it to Pt Townsend. Just taking things easy from here on in. Once home I'll start getting ready for FISHING in Mexico. Joe
  9. Ya I know, but it was warmer up there last week than it was in Pahrump, NV. Made it to Red Bluff Elks yesterday, headed for the Timber Valley SKP Park today. Then I'll slow down for the weekend. Just have to make it to Woodland, WA by 8am on Monday. Joe
  10. And I'm sitting here in Bakersfield drinking coffee reading about you 2 being up early. My excuse is I need to get an early start as today is gonna be a long drive. Need to make it to Red Bluff today. Joe
  11. Darn it Lee, here I am with all this Baaad Whiskey and no way to get it to you right now. I think Steve broke the flux capacitor in the Flim Flam machine. Like has been said before though, give a shout if you need anything. Joe
  12. Yep Don, Welcome to the best bunch of classless folks you will ever run into. Yesterday with Steve and Carol was GREAT. We sat around talking about "you" so long I thought they were gonna start charging us rent. And like Steve mentioned, it's COLD here in Pahrump this morning also. Supposed to be low's in the teens for the next 5 nights. Joe
  13. Thanks, it was STRESSFUL. But I managed to get enough rest that today I can meet Steve and Carol for lunch here at the Winery. Joe
  14. Today turned out to be another Travel Day. Moved a whole 4 miles from the SKP Pair of Dice Park to Wine Ridge RV Resort. Hmmmmm with Passport America it's $12.00 a day for 14 days. And I can walk to "The Winery" Restaurant. So not only is it cheaper, it also has a lot of stuff that SKP doesn't have. Ok, that's my story and I'm stickin to it. Joe
  15. Ok, got the pin to move, so now I'm BOONDOCKING at the Pair a Dice SKP. Not a real happy camper about it. Had I known there office was closed on Sunday, I would have waited till tomorrow to head up here. Joe
  16. After almost a month here in Winterhaven, CA it's time for a change, IF I can get that dang pin broke loose. Heading for Pahrump, NV today. Hopefully the SKP park there has an opening. Steve, looking forward to seeing you and Carol tomorrow. Joe
  17. HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone. Still in the Yuma area, but will be heading for Pahrump, NV on Sunday. Joe
  18. Dang, things sure got WET here last night. And it looks like they are still wet today clear up through Lost Wages. Steve, hope you and Carol are staying dry. On second thought, get Jeri and Terry and you all take some Cranberry Juice and hit the Hot Tub. Should be fun in the rain. Heading to Mexico for Lunch today. And maybe just a bit of shopping. I know a couple of ladies up north that really like the Bailey's Chocolate's. Joe
  19. I'm still just hanging around the Yuma area. Finally got all my Dental work finished, so now it's time to kick back and enjoy the weather. After talking with friends from up home, I may decide to come back to Yuma after my trip to Pahrump and Vegas next month. Think today I'll head out Quad shopping with a friend. Hope Steve and Carol are still in the Vegas area when I head up that way the first. Maybe them and Jeri and Terry can meet up at the Winery in Pahrump for a late lunch one day. Joe
  20. Tell MJ HI for me also and if she get's down here in the Yuma area to give me a holler. Would be good to see her again, last time was in Mexico Beach during the "Flood". Joe
  21. HAHAHAHAHAHA but you can't prove it. So did you by chance walk the "Shops at Mandalay Bay" while you were there? Set up and parked here in Rivers Edge RV Park in Winterhaven, CA now. Will be here for roughly a month. Need a bit of Dental work done, etc. And spending time with friends from up home that winter here also. Then back up to Nevada and the Lost Wages area in December. Joe
  22. Yep 3 groups and what else was there to do but go out to dinner. So there we were, Doug, Toni, Terry, Jeri, Shelly,(Jeri's cousin) and myself sitting outside at the Boulder Dam Brew Pub eating, drinking, and talking about everybody that wasn't there. It was a very good time and the weather was perfect. But all good things must end, or so THEY say. I'll be moving on down the road this morning, heading for Winterhaven and yet more good times with more friends. Joe
  23. Yep life is just full of surprises. And we got to talk about everyone that wasn't there. Was some mention of Baaaaaaaaaaad Whiskey also, even though we all behaved ourselves. Hey Steve, if you and Carol had been in Ocean Shores last weekend you guys could have been in this picture also. Joe
  24. Yep that pretty much says it all. Spending the later part of the day with good friends having good food and then to top it off with a party, just don't get much better than that. Well it does, but at that point it's illegal. Joe
  25. Right on, does that mean I need to sneak outta town real soon? Joe
