Great to see you posting! look forward to seeing you and Delcie in person once you can scratch that itch!

- I have the hitch itch! It will have to wait a while, I am getting a hip replacement Monday if all goes well. I fell sorry for Delcie for having to put up with me till I recover. It seems that all we have done since closing the campground in early Sept. is Dr. appt. and we have not been sick. Looking forward to getting back on the road. Hoping to see everyone in the Spring.

FYI to all here on the forum but not on face book - Freddy's daughter posted that the surgery went well and that he will likely go home in a couple of days.

Glad to know you arrived and look forward to hearing further on your new digs. -
We are in Buffalo WY until end of July - then onto Colorado, - then Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Scotland and Ireland!! a vacation from our RV lifestyle and a celebration of my sisters 75th birthday, plus our 40th anniversary year - any excuse will do. LOL
might have to break down and start a blog just for that trip.
-
Lee,
Sorry to hear you are having to head East - know it was a tough call but the correct calls not always easy. We look forward to hearing about chasing those nurses soon.
-
Lee, we wish you a speedy recovery. Remember nurses are just cowgirls in a different uniforms.

Yikes..you are lucky you made it..we have done the blown tire side of the road routine more than once.We are at Rovers Roost at .Casa Grande. We spent five weeks at Pilot Knob, enjoyed it except for the heat, it was in the 90's several days, a little uncomfortable boondocking. When we pulled in here found that we had thrown a tread off a trailer tire, glad we made it to the park instead of on the side of the road. Hope everyone is having fun!

Glad you are safe. How long you staying in Casa Grande?

Linda and Ed, We too are do sorry to heat your news. Amazing how quickly a careless driver can change our lives.

The Q rally group has been busy..campfires with snack food, a group trip to silly Al's, and tonight a great spaghetti feast. Thanks Steve and Carol.
Fun fire chats with great jokes and a few tall tales!
Rv tent opened today ..so of course a little shopping.
Tom demonstrated his new wind break system which is great. Only took us 3 trips into town for parts and now we have one too!

Looks like a good part of our group prefers later part of rally week. Which we totally get.
So just like last year we will have some who arrive early and other who arrive later. Perhaps the 17 and 18th will be when there will be the greatest over lap of both.
-
You will be missed...enjoyed your recent blog postJust to let you know we won't be at Quartsite in Jan. Would love to try out our new solar but maybe next year.
-
Would appreciate if those who plan to attend Q rally would chime in - that we know how many limes to buy (well the rest of the stuff too)
-
I will have to say the Margaritas and quesadillas were great the first event. A great time was had by all but may not remembered by all. I think Mike's hat got kinda twisted around but he didn't care. Janice and I will not make it this year but everyone have fun and stay safe. Hanging around sunny Florida this year.
I am sure we will have another next year too - wait this one is set for next year! easy to get twisted around!! we will miss all you Florida and Texas class members.
-
Rally will start the 13th ..I know some may want to extend or shorten their stay.I got the two rigs swapped today so I'm all ready to take the Trailer to Jimmy's RV Repair in the morning so I'm pretty much on schedule. I about had a frosted tush out there this morning hooking up the trailer to move it to the other site. The real test of my fortitude will come Tuesday morning when I head West. The forecast is for 18° and high winds but it improves as you go west. So If the divide just east of Lordsburg is clear and Texas canyon isn't icy I should be ok.
Julie: Does that 13th to 18th mean will start on the 13th and break up on the 18th or simply mean we will start some where between the 13th and 18th?

Hi all
We had a group at Silly Al's for lunch today. So if your ears are burning that is why. 8 of us sat and talked for close to 4 hours. The group included Paul and Sue, Brad and Marilyn, Tom and Dianne
We all decided we should post again about rally in January.
Plan is to get a spot on plomosa rd Wed 13th to Monday 18th. At some point during that time there will be the 3rd annual Margarita quesadillas night.
Hope to see many of you at the rally.

We owned lots of rain gear when we lived in Florida, nice and dry here in the desert..but el Nino could still kick in
-
That looks wonderful. ..hey does Carol want to have her other knee done?Well let's see if we can "entice" you with a lil ole Marguerita then.
