  5. We drove up to that one in Auburndale while we stayed in Wauchula. Spent 6 hrs at the Canton fleamarket yesterday and going back today. Still lots to see. Found a game I had as a kid and couldn't pass it up for $10. It has all the pieces but box is in bad shape. http://www.samstoybox.com/toys/Magnetel.html Tried to bargain on some vintage Ford Model T and A tools but couldn't pull off a deal. Will go back later. Antique stores and flea markets are our weakness. Can't buy anything big while living in the RV. LOL. Travel safe. Jeff

  12. Tina and I ate lunch at Lambert's Cafe yesterday here in Foley, Al. I know a few have eaten at Lambert's Cafe before but you that haven't I think it's a must do. Back last June we ate at the one in Ozark, Mo. so we had to do it again when we were this close. The portions are great and the "throwed rolls" are the size of a softball. We had lunch and dinner yesterday and still have leftovers. LOL. If you get a chance to go you can't miss it. There are only three and the third one is in Sikeston, Mo. http://www.throwedrolls.com/ One of the coldest mornings we've had this "winter". 39 degrees and could be a little colder tomorrow. Sounds like a beach day. LOL. Travel safe everyone. Jeff
  13. I follow this one and the Class-less both. Jeff
  14. Hope all went well. Let us know all about how it went.
  15. Sandie,we'll try to make some time to meet with you and Jim. Going be there for our Granddaughter's high school graduation. Hope it's not hot then. LOL.
  16. Who's thinking about going to Colorado this summer? We'll be in Loveland (Boyd Lke State Park) for the 4th of July and Aurora (Cherry Creek State Park) the week before. We'll be in Phoenix and Tucson in May then head toward Colorado. After Colorado we are looking at northern Utah, Idaho and Washington state. Going down the coast late summer toward the southwest for the winter. Jeri, we stopped at the Redding Elks summer before last and it was very active. The ER was a young woman that was about 40 years old. We've seen the same lodges as you lately that have even filled in swimming pools with dirt. Travel safe everyone. Jeff
  17. What ever happened to that "slow trek westward". LOL. You guys have left us in the dust if there was any. It's all mud from days of rain. Yesterday was a do nothing day just staying dry. Temps are going to cool for a couple of days and the rain showers are suppose to stop today. It's sunny now. Going to Fairhope for an Arts and Crafts Festival and a Trade Days. Taking the unbrellas. Apparently the Elks lodge property here in Foley, Al. is sold or being sold. One of the residents told me it will be gone in the next year or so. Travel safe everyone. Jeff
  18. Long drive for us today. 25 miles. Warrington (Pensacola) Elks to Foley, Al. Elks. We are worn out. LOL. We'll be here a week, Suppose to rain off & on through Saturday. It's not raining right now and 73 degrees plus 83% humidity. Yikes! It will be great to dry out this summer in the west. We finally left Florida. Was in the state since early October. Travel safe everyone. Jeff
  19. Going to a cousin's house on Tuesday evening in Pace, Fl. while we are in Pensacola. Haven't seen them in years. Will be a good time. Terry must've installed rockets on your rig. One day Pensacola then before you know it Johnson City, Texas. Yikes. What's it like if you're in a hurry? I guess you fly. LOL. Tina and I went for a horseback ride yesterday. First time i've been on a horse in 25 years. I'm definitely not Roy Rogers. I made it the whole hour without incident. Then after lunch down by the beach took in a St. Patrick's day parade. Beach time hasn't been good while we've been on the coast this week. Red flag or double red flag every day. Going for a bike ride today along 30A today. Pensacola tomorrow. Travel safe everyone. Jeff
  20. Y'all in rain doing alright? Just been windy here in the Florida panhandle. Tried to walk and sit on the beach yesterday and got lightly sand blasted. Spring break time here, haven't seen many kids. Driving through Panama City today. They've really cracked down on the kids. A year ago yesterday we found (rescued/adopted) our pup while on our Baja trip. A high energy puppy for sure. Unfortunately for me 2 weeks ago I was laying on the couch and she wanted to play. I wasn't paying attention to her when she stuck her foot in my right eye. The cornea got scratched and there may be some retina damage. My vision isn't what it was before a little fuzzy with floaters and some light flashes. An eye doctor scraped the cornea last Friday because she didn't like the way it was healing and put in a contact for the weekend. Monday she took the contact out and said it looked good. We'll see the eye doctor that did my cataract surgery in a couple of weeks to see what she says. Bummer. Peyton retires, Brock leaves and goes to Houston. What will the Broncos do to repeat next year? I know this is a major concern for everyone. LOL. Travel safe everyone. Jeff
  21. Sorry to hear. Thoughts and prayers. Tina and Jeff
