  1. My Advantage plan only works well, because it doesn't cost any extra like buying a supplemental policy, it provides coverage, on an emergency basis, anywhere in the US and a lot of the civilized world. To receive the full benefit of the plan you would need to be in the area for all routine care. When someone I know had a heart attack 1,500 miles away from his and my service area, our plan paid for all of the cost without issue. There are cost like $15 copay for specialist, my replacement pacemaker $200, drug copay $7.50 or less for 90 supply. Any copay is small by my standards. For the two of us supplemental Medicare policy $590 per month or $7,080 per year. My Advantage plan is the only five star plan in Texas. I consider the healthcare that I receive to be above what I would expect. The online portal is excellent and easy to use. The online system that the medical personnel use is state of the art and you receive emails and texts reminders for appointments etc. I have the same PCP since 2008 which is before I was on Medicare. There are more then 740 MDs in the plan and they all work for the plan administrator. This is the very best medical insurance that I have ever had which includes my last healthcare provided my my employer which cost them $940 per month in 2016!

  2. Good Luck! My better half has had issues. First no supplies then they call every day! Always trying to sell supplies. Customer service seems to be a thing of the past! It is remarkable to me that many business/companies will not answer a phone. If I try to call the largest bank in the country, Chase, they have a recording stating all operators a busy try back later and this goes on day after day!

  3. It is possible that you put the charging end of the cord in upside down and damaged it? Even if you have insurance on the phone? Warranty companies first deny claims and many times will not pay ever. This also applies to auto extended warranties. I only have four people that I know who tried to collect on a claim for auto warranty from warranty companies and none got paid. They told them they had not keep up regular maintenance, all four. While that is not a lot of data that is the only four people I know who tried to collect on a claim. I have been told that Good Sam does honor their extended warranties. Again only one person told me that. I have never had an extended warranty on an RV because I don't like what they don't cover.

  4. I have had both and the four step fold in are better then the old three step fold under type. I currently have a two door fifth wheel and it came with the fold in four type. They are adjustable and I use two of the extra steps that Kirk has pictured above and they sure help. I have never had a problem with them sticking to far but we don't stop at truck stops or Walmart's without full hookups.

  5. Progressive is what I use. It is real RV insurance not add on to auto policy. RV insurance is very different carrier to carrier. When I did my research carriers like Good Sam and Progressive offer replacement cost for five years and then agreed value. With a rig that is older then 5 years replacement valve is not offered that I know. People tell me that they added their RV to an auto policy for a few dollars a month. Please know what you are buying and fully understand what is covered and what is not. I have filed a claim with Progressive in the past, 2 years ago, and the were very easy to deal with. Good Luck

  6. When I was much younger I did a lot of my own stock picking. Holding about 12 different stocks, selling options etc. As I got older I realized that I really found it boring. I had always had most of my retirement funds in mutual funds, stocks about 80%, bonds 20%. Currently that is the way it is invested via an IRA. I have been very lucky with the investment. Since I retired 5 years ago, I have taken $6,000 per monthly. I started with $1.2 million and it is still at $1.2 million! There are a number of mutual fund families that people use, I am with T. Rowe Price. At some point in the not to distant future I will be required to take more out and I have not thought much about that.
