I spoke with Carl today.  Last night, before drifting off to snoozeville, it struck me......Carl has a two pedal truck.  Never having owned one myself, it escaped me that under high torque/low rpm situations, the tranny brain box might not have the clutch fully engaged.  Hmmmm.....

    Good point!

  2. Are you adjusting the trailer height a little to see some space above and below your pin (especially without a plate)?  Sometimes if in a bind, I would put the truck in N, release the brakes,(and the tension) and then slide right out.

WOW!  I submitted the above and it never went anywhere!  It's the same thing everybody else is saying.

  3. Mine was simply a low oil situation!!!!!  Actually, when Bill Burton helped get mine running when city power was out, he pointed out something about a sticker that said "check oil level every time before starting"!!!!  And he didn't add that much to it!

  4. Yes.  I normally will change it every year.  It has now been sitting for about 2 1/2 yrs, so it will get changed before I head out, whenever that may be!

  5. I'm with Carl on this one.  As depositing a check is the same thing as accepting a wire transfer, it should be a done deal!

But I have heard once in a real estate transaction, that you can enforce a buyer to complete the purchase or suffer the loss to the seller, but you can't force the seller to complete the deal.

Rocky, It worked, Thanks, Dick T

Dick, if simply unplugging that sensor worked, then you still need to replace it.  You want a good sensor to protect you from a draining coolant situation.  If connecting back was the move that fixed it, then you are good to go!  Stay blessed.

The time mine was doing this it had to go the the shop for a sensor (think it was a throttle position sensor). Until it was replaced I put a small bungee on the pedal to hold it up a bit. That worked fine.

    Same here Carl.
