I'm with Jack. After my 1993 Milwaukee experience, I filter the bejeezus out of water (including a UV filter) -- my setup.Note that if the water is "bad", eg. not potable, then the filters alone are typically not a viable solution. I would want to add a UV lamp to the solution. If the water is just full of sedimentation then the filter solution will work, but depending on the level of sediment, you will need multiple filters. I use a 5 micron and a 1 micron, then a charcoal filter.

so do you know if it makes suggestions as to what it would think that you might like to watch like TiVo ?? I hear different stories that it does and that it don't. I heard the last hopper made suggestions and that it needed to be hooked up to the internet to do so then I heard it didn't. I never messed around to know
Well, the new Hopper 3 Home screen lists suggestions . . .

I just bought mine today I can't wait to get it. they said I would have no problems hooking it up to my travlr .
An off-the-shelf Winegard Travler SK-1000 will not work. It has to be modified -- Winegard Travler SK-1000 DISH Hybrid Pro Upgrade.
Plus, a Hopper 3 install is not the same as the former Hoppers:

I had the new 16-tuner Hopper 3 installed last Saturday. Very impressive. I'll have more details lated, especially for RVers.
In the meantime, here's some details from my Hopper 3 install. . . keep in mind that it's pretty nerdy. -
Excellent !!!

My dash AC has been problematic ever since I bought my 2001 Newmar Mountain Aire in 2010.
Granted, my RV is going on 14 years old, but I've paid to have the AC repaired twice, but it's still on the fritz. It will work a while, then some new problem starts.
Are these RV dash ACs that hard to fix?

The physical positions of my stuff does not represent the actual water flow. It's like this . . .
Water from Spigot > Sediment Filter > Carbon Block Filter > Water softener > Flow Meter > UV Filter > Water Tank
Water Tank > RO Membrane > Carbon "Polisher"
BTW, to me, a Sediment & Carbon Filter don't equal an RO filter.
