Mike2338
FWIW... I called Winegard Helpdesk this morning to find out how to alleviate the E3 error I have been getting sporadically. I did some research online and found that part of the diagnostics is to run a separate cable between the controller and the antenna. I was still getting the error. The helpdesk told me that Winegard is replacing units getting this error that were produced prior to approximately March of 2017 and not asking for the existing unit to be returned. After that production date they have installed an upgraded circuit board. They asked for a sales receipt which I did not have. I was able to convince them to take the serial number instead since the issue is manufacture date. The first 6-digits of the serial number is the production date. Mine is 091816****. I am getting a refurbished unit but as long as it has the upgraded board I am fine with that. m
