Lassen Volcanic National Park

Tucsontech

Recommended Posts

We are traveling North on Interstate 5 and wanted to spend some time at Lassen Volcanic National Park. We have a 26' Class C and a tow car.

Would appreciate any advice on the best road in and out of the park along with recommendations for the best "1st come, 1st served" campgrounds

All the roads look to be good at this time.....    https://www.nps.gov/lavo/planyourvisit/conditions.htm

Summit Lake Campground is back to nature!  Beautiful and right next to a little alpine lake that has an easy foot trail all the way around it.  We stayed there in a 32' fifth wheel.
